The reviews are true, one of the best service I've gotten not just in Gdansk but throughout Poland. We were actually served by 3 host/waiter/waitress in total, I'm not sure why. The host was very charming and welcoming! Would go back just for the service A+ however the food was also amazing! We wanted to try some seafood being by the coast, and they recommended the Polish White Wine, which was like a sauvignon blanc but just a hint of sweetness, very refreshing. That paired really well with the Calimari for appetizer and the Halibut for the main courses. Ended up with a couple more glasses of white wine before the end of the night. The weather was also nice out to sit outside this time of year and see the boats and tourists pass by and the sunset. If I could give it three A+ or three 5 stars I would. But the best compliment I can give is I plan to go back 2x this trip and try the different dishes and I will be back again next trip as well. Update: I did go back and tried the chicken main dish the following week and it was...

The view of the harbor is very pretty and the terrace is one of the nicest in Gdansk. We were seated inside, since the weather was cold, but we had a very nice table looking out of the window. The interior is nicely decorated. The carpet as described in the comments is quite impressive.
We ordered... sea food. The waiter was very polite and fast, serving every request we had, immediately.
I understand that late May is not a good season for local fish in Gdansk, so everything was from sea farms. The good thing was that they didn't try to sell it as some kind of local food. The waiter was honest and actually tried to find out where the fish and sea food was from.
Everything was very tasty, and the experience was very pleasant.
The prices for the quality of the place/food/service were reasonable. Its a good recommendation for a nice dinner...
Read moreJust had one of the worst experiences here. Beware. Our order was forgotten and then held in a queue. When we tried to deal with our complaint politely inside with the waiter, the manager came over and behaved aggressively. We walked back out and sat down at the table. Suddenly the manager came out and pretended that everything was fine and wanted to offer us drinks. Amazing as now there was loads of other customers around. He was so different from inside where he was rude. We were upset and loudly said that it was not ok that he was now pretending to behave in the right way, just because other people were around - obviously we wanted to be heard. A couple beside us then started saying that as tourists, we should not complain or take the matter so seriously and that we should be quiet. Just because we speak English does not mean that we...
