As a tourist, if you don't get yourself to a milkbar then you haven't experienced Poland and you've more than likely been absolutely robbed by all the other establishments that say they cater to tourists, this is real polish food, cooked by real polish people. You go in, you order (in Polish or in English, most will understand you, if not try your best or just use your fingers and point) and you get your food all within a few seconds. Just be weary, it will be packed at lunch but the line moves quickly! The food is nothing fancy at all, it's not gourmet, it's the food you'd get if your babcia was cooking for you.
