Pianola — Restaurant in Krakow

Disappointed with the service in the city center of Krakow It’s a very cute aesthetic plate that you will surely notice from the outside We came here at about 8 pm to drink some coffee. The place wasn’t full, there ya couple of tables occupied at the terrace, but the inside was empty. It was on Wednesday, so I think they are usually getting full on weekends Anyways, the waitress took the order for 2 coffees and a glass of water and left us without anything for about 20 minutes. We saw her passing by multiple times, serving other guests, but she was super busy and didn’t see us at all. Even tho it was nice to sit and enjoy all flowers and stuff around, we just wanted out coffee I thought she would say that they are sorry and will give us a compensation present or something, because I went inside and the place was empty, so there was no rush to make us coffee, not a lot of clients whatsoever. No one said anything to us, I paid the full price and I don’t think I want to risk it and come here again. If they failed such easy thing as bringing coffee, what else should I expect from them? Horrible service. We failed to receive our breakfast after waiting for 1 hour, just paid for our coffee and tea and left cause it would be ridiculous to continue waiting. The servers are completely incompetent. For instance, I asked for an extra glass 2 different servers, in 2 different languages (Polish and English) to get it in 30 min. In addition to all of above-mentioned, when I asked for the book of complaints and suggestions, the waitress told me she has no idea what I am talking about and they don’t have one. Btw, every cafe/restaurant in EU have to have one (and other guests in the restaurant confirmed that they must have one). Seemed also like we were not the only guests...

Właściciel według mnie jest strasznym chamem. Od kilku dni przychodziliśmy na kawę do tego lokalu ponieważ niedaleko odbywały się warsztaty, w których uczestniczyliśmy. Feralnego dnia rano mieliśmy się też spotkać na kawie przed warsztatami. Moi znajomi akurat usiedli w ogródku sąsiedniego lokalu, o czym jednak nie wiedziałam. Ponieważ miałam pilną potrzebę skorzystania z toalety, zanim się zorientowałam gdzie siedzą moi znajomi, weszłam do toalety w Cafe Pianola. Gdy wychodziłam by dołączyć do znajomych, którzy, jak mi się zdawało, siedzieli właśnie w ogródku tej kawiarni, wybiegł za mną właściciel tego lokalu, krzycząc na całą ulicę, że skorzystałam z ich toalety, a to jest tylko dla klientów (wtedy jeszcze byłam przekonana, że właśnie w tej kawiarni są moi znajomi i zamierzałam tam coś zamówić), że przecież zużyłam wodę i prąd, a to wszystko kosztuje. Dodatkowym argumentem było, że tam do niego całe wycieczki przychodzą korzystać z toalety, a to go naraża na wysokie koszty. I to nie było jakieś kulturalne zwrócienie uwagi, bo ogólnie to rozumiem, toaleta dla kogoś kto nie jest klientem jest płatna - to ok, ale oburzające jest to, że facet się od początku na mnie wydzierał! De facto zostałam potraktowana jak złodziejka, która wychodzi z kawiarni nie płacąc. Koszt zużycia wody i prądu w czasie jednorazowej wizyty w toalecie został wyceniony na 3 złote. Opłatę uiściłam, ale nigdy więcej się do tego lokalu nie wybiorę. Już dzień wcześniej było dość nieprzyjemnie. Kelnerka, która nas obsługiwała, była tak zdenerwowana, że podając nam dzbanek z herbatą trzasnęła nim o stół tak, że aż się woda rozlała. Nie wiem o co tam chodzi, być może ten właściciel po prostu tak podle traktuje nie tylko klientów, ale i własny personel. Zdecydowanie...
