Benihana — Restaurant in Bucharest

Honest review. I had a reservation last week. Things went ok. Resturant is overpriced. It is true that they serve some good steaks, but the rest of the food is average. We had some sushi which was not as good as some other sushi that I usually order home form different delivery restaurants. Fish didn't taste very fresh. We also had onion soup, some rice, veggies. These were good. We also tried an A5 and the steak was delicious. Our server (Vlad) was really kind and professional. Julius (the chef) was also great, funny and talented. 10/10 for these guys.

We also had the chance the assist a pretty big argument in between another customer and the dining room manager. They were complaining because they didn't recieve what they ordered. Didn't feel quite good, as we wanted to have a relaxing dinner experience.

The reason why I am rating 3/5 is because I was expecting all food to be perfect for a 500$ bill and because I'm trying for a week to recieve my invoice from them. I've called everyday, still no invoice. Today, the guy on the phone yelled at me for no reason. Apparently he was the one disturbed because he couldn't send me my invoice. I think you should consider changing the poor romanian management in the restaurant, because the servers and chefs seemed...

We’ve been to this restaurant on the 5th of April 2022 in the evening. The prices were way too expensive for the quality of food that we eat. We’ve been to the same restaurants with the same concepts and you can’t compare. Also, the portions of food are little.

But the biggest disappointment was that the WAITER and the team that’s behind the restaurant ( not the guy that cooks in front of you, he/she is great ). First of all, we ordered 2 menus and they intentionally “ forgot “ to bring us the rice and soup for the second one. We were obligated to ask for it and was obvious that they didn't forget about it.

Also, they didn't get us the desert. The waiter was worse and also if you didn't look rich or important you had no chance.

Never again in that location. We suggest you don’t go either!!!

Yesterday was my birthday, and I am very homesick, so my husband decided to take me to this fantastic restaurant! Since I am timid, I didn't want people to know it was my birthday, but taking a call from your grandkids on FactTime changes everything! I never thought in a million years I would have so much fun and laughter with just being in the company of good people! For this dine-in experience to be this incredible made my heart swell as it does not take much for me to be happy; it made me realize how much joy was in others who wanted to see me smile and that it is something that money can't buy.
