I went to see the current exhibition of Pavle Paja Jovanovic's paintings. The exhibition itself is very small and not really representative of the artist's legacy. The plaques providing explanations about each work of art were not located immediately next to each painting, but on adjascent walls making it difficult to understand what is what. Additionally, there were 4 persons in the gallery sitting around a table and loudly discussing (or arguing over) something. Some or all of them work in the gallery. They paid no attention to the visitors. Finally, I wished to purchase the quite expensive catalogue, but was told to go to another location of the gallery (which was out of my way), as their bank card machine was out of order.
