The program was supposed to start at 7:30 pm. At 7:02 pm, the six of us were standing in front of the green (closed) gate. Nobody else was waiting there apart from us. They noticed us, and a few minutes later, a man in a red T-shirt (from Travelin Lady) came over to us. I hadn’t received any email or message saying the program was cancelled. He told me that due to bad weather the tour was cancelled… and that my money would be refunded tonight (I’m curious to see if that happens). I stood there in disbelief, as it was obvious that they weren’t going to run the boat for just six people. I said to him that nobody else was here apart from us, so clearly that’s why we’re not going. He told me that a lot of people had just left before us because of the bad weather (the meeting time is 7:00 pm, and we arrived at 7:02 pm…) 😂 On my phone I documented photos of the beach swarming with people, as well as the actual weather conditions (29 °C). It’s ridiculous and at the same time pathetic that they treat people like fools. If they had informed us in any way, I wouldn’t have said a word. But like this… Absolutely below any acceptable standard.
UPDATE This rude, arrogant way you respond to negative feedback says everything about you. You may be right, and maybe I can’t see what’s happening out in the middle of the ocean just because it’s calm on the beach doesn’t mean the waves aren’t raging further out. None of that changes the fact that I was not informed that the tour would be cancelled! One email or an SMS would have been enough, nothing more. Read moreMy son forgot his wallet (with the money, bank card and most importantly his id card) on the boat, while we were having a tour with them. Unfortunately we realized that only in the evening. So, next morning we came over to them again, to ask whether they might have found the wallet. The experience was quite disgusting. First, the captain was pretending he doesn't speak English, even though yesterday he spoke English without any issues and already at this point it started to look somewhat suspicious.
Then we tried Google translate (plus we also had some help from another crew member who spoke English - actually many thanks to him!) and the captain finally muttered that he doesn't know anything neither did he find anything on the boat. But the way he was saying this.. It became quite apparent the guy was likely lying to us - you can see that by the jumping eyes, the mimic, the face expression, etc - you know how all that looks when people aren't truly good pretenders. Albeit I've no proof, but I'm double sure the guy found the wallet, grabbed the money and threw the rest away. I don't care about the money, but the id card was important for flying back to Germany.

Read moreI tried to book a trip with this company through Groupon, after buying it I got in contact to confirm the date & time as requested through this portal, this happened mid June, after a few emails I never heard back of the company again (no confirmation whatsoever) until end of August (I tried calling them a few dozens of times at least in between). Finally I was able to contact them today the owner in a very rude way told me they cannot attend the "huge" volume of emails they receive each day (for almost two months 🤣) and that I should cancel the booking with the provider as I have not received any confirmation from them.
Avoid this company at all costs!
Now I got the reply publicly here that the issue is with groupon, not with them after reaching out to them for over two months (obviously the booking is cancelled as you asked me to do and as I won't keep it with gangsters as you), also the feedback that I can't write a review as I have not taken part in any trip does not make any sense, as far as I know I am reviewing my experience with a company, not a trip, and the experience has been frankly awful.
