Edit 21.03 - I reported everything to the restaurant. They responded very kindly and understandingly to the situation. They decided to refund the money, which I greatly respect. Especially since it wasn't just a matter of the food being unpleasant (because the Bolognese itself was actually quite tasty), but there was clearly something wrong with that sauce. My grandmother was sick for two days, and I experienced serious gastrointestinal issues for three days.
I also recommend asking carefully about ingredients. Unfortunately, I didn't have the opportunity to do so because the waitress didn't speak English, and due to the lack of signal in the restaurant, I couldn't use a translator.
Later on, I found out that the sauce contained a lot of ingredients I didn’t expect and that I, unfortunately, have to avoid.
Despite everything, I still wouldn’t recommend it. Based on the Google reviews, I expected something entirely different. However, it turned out that the pizza wasn’t really pizza, and while the spaghetti was tasty, eating it ended badly for us. I still believe it wasn’t worth the price, but everyone should form their own opinion.
I have celiac disease. While visiting Barcelona, this place was a key stop on my trip.
Unfortunately, the pizza was not really pizza — more like a tortilla at best. I was dreaming of enjoying a delicious, authentic pizza, but after just one bite, I gave up. Not only was it nothing like real pizza, but it was also cold 😟
I also ordered the zucchini bolognese. The sauce was quite tasty, but sadly, everything was cold as well. It would have been much better served hot.
Unfortunately, everyone in my group experienced severe indigestion, but for me, it was especially bad. I had intense stomach pain, cramps, and multiple trips to the toilet. I’ve been dealing with reflux from that sauce for the past four hours now. 😢
The staff was very kind, but they didn’t speak much English, which can make it difficult for tourists to communicate, especially if they need to customize their order.
I wouldn’t recommend this place, especially for people with sensitive digestive systems. It was the biggest disappointment.
I know what quality means, and I never hesitate to pay for it. But this meal was not worth its price — and certainly not worth the pain in...
Read moreThe pizzas here were absolutely delightful! They use a quinoa-base to make the entire pizza dough. It looked thin and I wasn't sure if it would be filling or taste good but wow!! It was really, really good! And the texture was great. I prefer this pizza dough texture and flavour a lot more than cauliflower pizzas. The Margarita pizza is a classic. We also got the caprese pizza and there was so much flavour. The desserts are all sweetened by dates too, a healthier alternative to sugar. The brownie we ordered was just alright. Definitely made with cleaner ingredients so it isn't as decadent or rich. The ice cream that it came with was filled with ice crystals. The dessert doesn't detract from the main meals though and we left very satisfied and very full. Would definitely come visit again if we're in the area.
Service was great! When we asked for tap water, they filled up a large bottle of filtered water! There were only two girls on the floor and it was busy. They were managing take out orders at the same time too so a bit of patience with the waiters will...
Read moreI wanted to give this place a second chance because of the positive reviews, but unfortunately, it didn’t work out. We waited at the door, completely ignored by the staff for a good 8 minutes. After that, we waited another 10 minutes while the staff member cleaned tables and did other tasks.
Eventually, I asked how long we’d have to wait for the pizza, and he assured me it would be another 20 minutes. At that point, I decided to leave, feeling very disappointed. Granted, there was only one staff member on the floor with an almost full restaurant, but this isn't an excuse.
I don’t think I’ll give this place another try.
There are other gluten-free pizza restaurants where the staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and they don’t rely on fancy marketing to get noticed. They’re great because they run their...
