Primark — Attraction in Barcelona

Not enthusiastic about it Sure, it is very cheep, especially so on the items on offer. But... Nothing interesting really, all very common, leaning on the classic rather than modern or trendy, despite that it supposedly applies to a clientele consisting, in its majority, of girls or younger women. Has some large sizes in some items, reaching up to size 48. Big variety in jeans of all sorts, a good buy, since they go never out of fashion. Good for every day clothes, although I have still to check the quality. As said before, prices are a big plus, as part of the shop's allure. . I have visited only the shop in the Illa mall. The place is unbelievably crowded and chaotic, with big queues for paying. Be also prepared to waste precious time waiting in the fitting rooms queue. The racks of clothes are very near to one another and full, to the point of auto exploding. It is difficult to navigate between them and the fellow shoppers and certainly this fact doesn't account for leisurely shopping. Very polite and helpful personnel, giving all they got, despite being overwhelmed by the crowds! Update: In their line for the summer, the company has extended the available sizes up to 48 to...

It’s always fun to see a Primark somewhere, reminded me of London where there is a Primark at every corner lol. I still don’t like it that much just because of the shopping practices and the fact that encourages fast fashion and not too much awareness about authentic and conscious shopping experiences.

I am glad there is affordable fashion for everyone, but I would rather look into local entrepreneurs, second hand and thrifting instead of supporting fast...
