The service here is worst than attitudes of New Yorkers. I’d rather go home and pay for overpriced food that actually tastes good.
The waitress serving us has the worst attitude I’ve seen ever seen (examples below). The reason? Being Asian, have a party of six, dining with children? No idea, but we were polite and quiet, just trying to get a last meal before leaving Barcelona. (Didn’t get her name, but she looks like she hates working there)
Save your money and take it to a neighboring restaurant that actually respects you. I’m sorry to all the nice staff who continued to be yelled at during our time here. (Another waitress tried to bring our bill to us, but got yelled at to clean tables as we waited another 10 minutes)
Rude scenarios examples: First sitting down, we ordered two bottles of water and a bottle of sangria for the table (only came back with one cup). She then looked at my 10 year old brother and with an attitude, proceeded to ask him what he wanted to drink. The whole table was confused as this was our order for every place we have been to. My mom thought the water came as cups, and then asked if it was bottled or cups of water. The waitress made a disgruntled face and obviously “annoyed” made hand gestures and shouted “WATERR HOW MANY.” As if we couldn’t understand English. We then confirmed two bottles of water again as she stormed away.
When ordering entrees, another child was saying their starter and entree, she then yelled at him saying “NO NO STARTER FIRST.” Finished taking our orders and ran off, storming away again.
Halfway through she stopped serving our table, and made another waitress do so (who was very nice, thank you to her)
When she finally brought me the check, she did not say thank you or any last words of gratitude, as an employee with proper customer service training should do. Dumped the payment machine on the table, glared at her phone and texted her friends, waited to me to pay then ran off.
Leaving the restaurant the original waitress glared at me and continued to give me the silent treatment. (She looked angrier than the Hulk!)
Food Critiques: Mac & Cheese is rigatoni pasta with a few pieces of thickly grated Parmesan. Stay away, it’s a joke All burgers use the same bun with different sized burgers. If you want a small burger with big buns, this is the place for you. (Ordered 3 medium rare burgers, got 2 of them medium well) Sangria is pretty bad, would not recommend Salmon is extremely small and over cooked
Like many reviews before me, average food, TERRIBLE SERVICE, great environment. Not worth it and hoping others will not have to experience the same treatment. If you want better service, go to the streets of NYC and yell...
Read moreWhere do we start. Came to the restaurant and asked for a table for 8 people outside if possible. Was told this isn’t possible as outside was for drinks only even though we could literally see people in front of us eating food. Very strange. So we said ok and took a table inside thinking this was perhaps just a communication error even though we speak Spanish!
Took 20 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us so we could order a drink. The staff running around like headless chickens all bumping into one another shouting at each other looking like they didn’t want to be there. A few even bumped into us when we got up to use the loo.
Kids food arrived- was ok but nothing special. Plates dirty and one heavily chipped on the side. Pointed this out to a waitress who didn’t seem to care.
Adult meals- Salmon heavily over cooked and a beef dish which wasn’t cooked well at all. We pointed this out again to the waitress. Ignored.
At the end of our meal we mentioned this again and was informed that we had to speak to the manager! After waiting forever to speak to her we informed her that one of the meals was so bad it was barely touched and showed her. We asked very politely if this meal could be removed from our bill. (This was a matter of principle not about the money). Possibly the rudest restaurant manager I have ever spoken to simply shouting at us and the ignoring us. Another 20 minutes went by waiting for any response from this manager whilst we sat patiently at our table wondering why we were being ignored.
Rather than discussing this meal with us she called in 2 security guards! 😳
I have never experienced anything like this in my life! Very scary and intimidating!
The two security guards both apologised to me on the restaurant’s behalf who were actually lovely guys and couldn’t understand why they’d be called in to discuss a meal! Avoid this restaurant like the plague!
Interestingly the staff who all looked like they’d been overworked were apologetic but the manager literally ruined our evening and our young daughter was crying her eyes out traumatised by these 2 security guards...
Read moreAbsolutely dreadful on all fronts, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this place to anyone. Prepare for a litany of grievances because my experience was nothing short of a nightmare.
Firstly, let's talk about the chicken breast disaster. Not only was it overcooked to the point of resembling something charred and lifeless, but it arrived a staggering 30 minutes after my friend's food, effectively ruining any chance I had of enjoying a meal. I couldn't even bring myself to take a single bite.
And that's not all. The melted cheese dish, if one could even call it that, was an abomination. Far from being melted properly, it clung to the pan like a stubborn barnacle, rendering it nearly impossible to consume in any civilized manner. Frankly, it was an offense to the very concept of melted cheese.
Let's move on to the service, or lack thereof. The waiters were slower than molasses on a winter day. It took no less than three pleas for ketchup before they finally mustered the energy to bring it out - and by that time, my meal was long finished. To add insult to injury, when I asked for some extra bread, I was presented with the crusts of what appeared to be stale leftovers. Absolutely preposterous.
Now, let's get to my attempt at seeking some resolution from the manager. To say it was a disappointment would be an understatement. The staff, incapable of empathy or basic customer service skills, greeted our feedback with unnecessary rudeness and defensiveness. The manager, in particular, seemed to believe that he possessed the divine ability to decree perfection, dismissing our valid concerns and defending the indefensible. Newsflash, sir: you are not the one consuming or paying for the food, so your arrogant declaration of "everything was perfect" holds no weight.
I have attached photographic evidence of this culinary catastrophe, in case my words aren't convincing enough. Proceed with caution, dear readers, for this establishment will surely bring nothing but misery to your taste buds and overall...
