We chose a restaurant for the celebration. Reviews and beautiful photos of the food immediately caught my eye. Unfortunately, these were just pretty pictures. View and taste are incompatible things in this restaurant. We chose crispy chicken and cod. Chicken with knorpel that was definitely frozen and then fried with crumbs, which is not the sign of a good restaurant. And now let's talk about cod. It takes talent to spoil a small piece of fish. The fish was dry, not chewy, without a crispy skin, and the sauce next to it was tasteless and completely incompatible. I think that the fish was frozen, not fresh, which is why the fish is not juicy. Which again is not a sign of a good restaurant. Beautiful environment, very clean, beautiful interior. We had an unexpected great experience here, as my daughter and I had an early night in at the hotel Friday evening. What stood out was our waiter Aaron's great attention, he went above and beyond with a couple of extra servings and with his uplifting demeanor elevated our quiet night to an experience. My daughter came in feeling unwell and left beaming with joy. The food was excellent, highlights was slow-cooked Iberian ribs and a great Catalonian desert, a crunchy pastry with chocolate ice cream and drops of olive oil. I'm not a wine expert, but the red wine had that lovely deep dryness that I've mostly experienced at very good restaurants. I stayed at the Barcelona Princess Hotel for a few days and had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant inside the hotel with great satisfaction. The environment is small, well-kept and modern with an inside part and an outside part overlooking the pool. The service is truly exceptional. The staff welcomes you with a smile and is very kind and helpful starting with the maître, Mr. Gabriel, who does everything to make you feel at ease and have a nice evening.
