Table for 4@8pm on a Friday
Looks great from the outside and immediately felt comfortable when seated at the table. Waiter apologised for a 5 minute wait to order, which was not in anyway an issue.
The menu was really good. And to quote my dad: "There's enough on the menu to be able to come back everyday and have something different".
Caesar salad was huge, although could have done with a bit more Caesar flavouring. We ordered 4 starters. Sadly one of the dishes arrived when the prior 3 had effectively been finished. This didn't tarnish the experience but is maybe more of a cultural thing for us Brits.
The breaded entrecote steak was unbelievable and, after a fairly large starter, provided more than enough to fill me for the rest of the evening.... With a little room for dessert 😉
The brownie and Torrija were light and fresh, totally opposite to what you expect after finishing 2 courses.
Bottle of Italian moscato and sangria for drinks.
They are NOT short on portion sizes. All of our table were quite shocked at the value for money. We left with far larger bellies than we started!!
I have to say that for my mother's 60th birthday meal we could not have asked for anything more. Absolutely brilliant. Totally deserved 5 stars. Would give 6 if I could.
Special mention to our main servers, Diego and Benjamin. Keep doing what you're doing. You helped to make the experience by adding a bit of humour as well as personal recommendations.

Read moreVERY VERY BAD FOOD AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was with a Gate1 tour group with our tour guide Juan. I ordered the steak like many of us but when I received it, it was rock hard and not eatable. I asked to switch to the Risotto and they ignored me. They even gave me a sharper knife thinking that would solve the problem. I wasn’t the only one complaining about the steak. My whole table thought it was super hard and chewy. I talked to a younger guy with glasses and right arm tattoo and he was super rude to me. The other 2 staff (a lady and a tall bald guy) asked me if I’m done with my food. I didn’t touch it at all. Of course I’m not happy with the food and waited for the Risotto. They just ignored me and so I left. Never coming back here again! Please save your money and go somewhere else! Avoid this place! I’m from California and I expect better service than this. My tour guide Juan just apologized to our group for the disgusting inedible steak but didn’t do anything to resolve it. Really disappointed to say the least. Here’s a picture of the bald guy and also...
Read moreWe ate at this restaurant twice during our stay, with the second visit being our farewell meal. Unlike some Spanish restaurants, the wait for food is extremely short but this doesn't have any effect the quality. We had a large group booking, 18 in total and all big eaters. The only problem we had was the size of the table but this was overcome by having a table of 10, and two tables of 4 at each end. Our main waiter, Diego, was extremely helpful throughout and was very attentive to our needs. I pre-ordered the starters, Coca Bread, Fried Chicken, Andalusian Squid and Prawn Croquettes, along with the wine. All were served within 15 minutes of us sitting down and were fantastic. There is an excellent choice of Italian and Spanish main courses with the seafood and meat dishes being good value for money. The dessert menu is also very good, with both traditional Spanish and Italian dishes. Despite being sandwiched between two other restaurants who offer cheaper menus, this is by far the best for food quality and service. It's well worth a visit if...
