La Casita De La Catedral — Attraction in Santiago de Compostela

This is our 4th stay at the casita de la catedral, feels like our home away from home. It’s beautiful, clean and modern. It located steps from the Plaza del Obradoiro, the Catedral and in the casco viejo. Location is great, you have access to everything, Michelin * restaurants, bars, market, shopping and of course all religious sites. The apartment has everything you need, full of amenities and a fully equipped kitchen if you choose to cook. It also, has excellent WiFi The owner Ana is wonderful , and lives next door. She will communicate in English and Spanish and will be happy to advise you on travel, restaurants, anything you need she is always available. Perfect. I have throughout my life stayed at many hotels, hostels, BnBs and apartments all over the world and this was by far the best ever! Exquisitely renovated, decorated and equipped apartment with a very service-minded proprietor in Ana. So much care has gone into all details, even accomodating for small children in so many ways (Hello Kitty-mugs, kids bathrobes etc etc). Amazing is not taking it far enough...

Location is smack in the middle, virtually next to the cathedral. Parking garage is close by and fee reduced with stamp from Ana. If I ever visit Santiago de Compostela again I will make damn sure to stay at La Casita De La Catedral again, and I whole-heartedly urge everyone reading this to do the same!

This apartment was beautifully appointed, the facilities were new, clean and comfortable. The host, Ana, was extremely kind and concerned about my experience in Santiago. When I finished my walk on the Camino I wanted to drop my backpack, shower and eat, this Casita was perfect! It's located just off the main square, the bathroom was modern, there were laundry facilities and its central location was perfect for finding great restaurants.
