4/5: A great massage, but not the best massage experience I’ve had in Thailand. Came in here on a late afternoon looking for a massage. I sat down browsing the menu, and had one of the ladies hovering over me, trying to get me to choose. I felt a bit rushed, so I quickly settled for the Thai massage with menthol. Honestly, I felt like the masseuse doing my massage was a bit rude. Maybe that’s just how she talks, which I can understand, but that doesn’t mean I have to like it. She sounded annoyed at me and it felt like I was being ordered around, rather than being directed on what to do. Why was it like that? Not sure; I didn’t give a reason to be treated this way. Honestly, after a couple of minutes inside, I kinda just wanted to leave. But I couldn’t, because I already paid for the massage. I didn’t like that I had to pay for the massage first. It’s not a huge deal, but it is weird for me and of all the massages that I’ve had in Bangkok/Thailand, this was the first place that did that. Do you go to a restaurant and pay for the food before eating? No, that’s silly. To me, this situation was the same. Otherwise, the rest of the experience was positive. The massage itself was quite nice. The strength was adequate and the menthol felt very healing. The massage room was clean, as well as the clothes that they had me wear temporarily. The cat in the lobby is quite cute, too! And I was given tea after the massage, which is always appreciated. Overall, this is still a nice place for a massage. Maybe my masseuse was just tired or having a bad day, I’m not sure. I’d suggest Plumeria consider having customers pay after the massage, not before. Trust is essential to a business, and making customers pay first says that you don’t trust them. I’d also suggest that the staff give customers enough time to choose what they want without making them feel pressured. Just some suggestions for improvement! I would still recommend coming here.

Today I visited Plumeria Spa with my girlfriend. When we arrived we were greeted by a very beautiful and funny white cat, and the owner who seemed very grateful and open to greet us. We sat down and were given slippers to use for our visit. The owner sat us and down showed us the menu. I explained to her that I had recently been in a car accident and have been doing physical therapy. And after a very long plane ride the day before, I could use a good massage to loosen things up. Based off of that she said she would recommend the Thai massage with balm. We decided to do 2 hours and it was only 1000 baht for the 2 hours. After receiving a foot bath we were brought upstairs to a room with 3 comfortable beds and got dressed in loose garments. I was told the masseuses know some English and understands light, medium or hard for pressure during the massage. The masseuses knocked on the door and politely came in. They shared some fun banter with my girlfriend who can speak Thai and they all seemed to have a good laugh, which felt like it broke the ice and made the experience more relaxed. I told the masseuse medium pressure and she began. It felt like she was very thorough and reached every nook and cranny of my sore body. I wasn’t expecting to get my back cracked from the thai massage but it felt really good. It was definitely a unique and much needed massage. Overall, the experience was amazing. My body feels better now after the two hour massage than it has with 2 months of physical therapy. And compared to the many expensive massages I’ve done in America. This felt like the best experience I’ve had ever getting a massage. I was even given free tea at the end of session. I expect on coming back at least one more time before flying back to America. Thank you for the great experience, I can’t wait to come back again! At least to visit your funny cat haha

Not only great massage and spa, friendly and warm welcome, relaxing and clean place that you can have from here. But, the lovely cat is waiting for your visit and also take care with her charming. Most enjoy and impressive. 4/8/2022 Come back to have massage with this place again and still happy likes previously. This time I have foot massage 1 hour and aroma massage 1 hour (I choose coconut aroma from the lady's recommendation) which help me so much relaxing and recovery from hard days. I recommend aroma massage for who want to have massage but concern about painful. It can help your skin more silky and moisturize, and also make you feel cozy and relax with the smelling. Still be good and clean place, and also good services. The cute white cat is so lovely likes before. Good choice for massage on Surawongse road.

Horrible experience. We paid 1000thb for the warm oil massage thinking that we would be getting a decent one due to the higher prices than the average massage parlours. This is not a fancy looking place at all so we genuinely thought that the price was justified by good quality. We couldn’t be more mistaken.

I’m not even going to call them masseuses because they were anything but. These women kept chatting the whole time, they also assumed that I don’t understand thai. To say that they were extremely unprofessional is an understatement. They clearly had zero intentions to provide us with any relaxation or wellness and they had no problems showing.

The first lady had absolutely no clue what she was doing, she kept running her elbows on my spine and I don’t mean just once or twice. She’s hurt me by “accidentally” slipping her elbows onto my spine instead of the surrounding muscles. That’s all she did for the first 15 minutes, absolutely clueless. I’m so achey at this moment that you could press any of my pressure points to help relieve tension, she couldn’t even hit one spot.

I asked to change the masseuse as soon as I realised it wasn’t going to get any better. I explained to the owner that her staff is not trained and she somehow has the cheek to tell me that the next one does. Why is anyone without a massage certificate/training even doing at a massage parlour? The second lady was better but still in no way a professional.

Like everyone else who has written an honest review, I really don’t know how they have such good ratings. I’ve had 300thb massages that were miles better and more professional than these women.

There is nothing more frustrating than wasting precious time and money on a treatment that doesn’t just wind you down but makes you feel even more stressed out than you did before.

No massage at all is better than having a massage at this place. The fact that they ask for payment beforehand shows you how little confidence they have in their services. They know that no one wants to tip their horrible cowboy “masseuses” anyway and they also realise that half of the people would just get up and walk away.

(Edit: I have just seen another reviewer who has mentioned about the person who only knows how to run her elbows on your spine and not your actual muscles/pressure points while chatting the entire time. I also see that the owner has replied and claims that that this person has been laid off. She’s clearly being dishonest and running a business that doesn’t provide its advertised...
