I LOVE this place!

This is the Museum of Modern Art located in al-Jaddaf area. It's not that big, but it's located in near the marina and has a nice view.

This multi-disciplinary, porous and open complex, designed by Serie Architects, specifically aims to welcome and bring together broad audiences with artists and other creative practitioners. The building is punctuated by seven gardens, each reflecting different desert biomes. Outside these windows, you'll see the Jaddaf Waterfront Sculpture Park, designed by Dubai- and Tokyo-based waiwai architects, and developed in partnership with Dubai Holding.

Three floors of gallery spaces are complemented by the Jameel Library, an open-access research centre dedicated to artists and cultural movements in the Gulf states and beyond. The Jameel also includes projects and commissions spaces, a writer's studio, bookshop and restaurant.

Jameel Arts Centre is an initiative of Art Jameel, an independent organization that fosters contemporary art practice, cultural heritage protection and creative entrepreneurship across the Middle East, North Africa and beyond.

On the G floor, there is a small library related to art, and on the entrance building, there is a souvenir shop that sells interesting goods.

It's a place worth visiting...

A very beautiful place on the Jadaf water front. A lovable place for artisists. There is a dome like structure in the front. This sculpture is made of biodegradable items. This is known as Tarabot. Tarabot is a dispersed pavilion hosting life representing a living forum.

I had an amazing experience looking the drawings and paintings displayed there. It's a different feel because those drawings explained the hardships faced by people during war, their distress and their feelings. I was very much impress by the wooden lion sculpture.

Well maintained beautiful ambience. There is a library with beautiful collections of various arts and culture. There is also a small place for the tiny tots to draw and color. Conference room also available.

The place is wheelchair Accessible ♿️ and toilets 🚻 also for people with determination.

There is a play area in front of the Arts Centre. Kids friendly place....
