Geekay - Mall of the Emirates — Attraction in Dubai

I recently visited Geekay to get my PC cleaned and upgrade a few parts, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I walked in, Armel was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. He took the time to understand exactly what I needed and explained everything in a way that was easy to follow.

Not only did he clean my PC thoroughly, but he also gave me great advice on which parts to upgrade to get the best performance. He handled everything with care, worked efficiently, and even tested everything afterward to make sure my system was running smoothly. Thanks to him, my PC feels brand new, and I’ve noticed a huge improvement in performance!

Geekay Games is undoubtedly the best game retailer currently in Dubai. Thanks to their great prices and impeccable customer service, it isn’t hard to see why. I shop from the Mall of Emirates branch often and have always had a positive experience. Their staff member Maria reserved games twice for me — once for my son’s birthday last year, and this month as well. She followed up with me when I couldn’t make it the day I initially promised to and held the game for two whole days. Their prices for physical copies are unmatched; I’ve never seen brand new titles and steelbook editions being offered at such low prices anywhere! They also have some of the more obscure titles in stock that are hard to come by here (especially Japanese ones). I have reserved a PS5 more than 50 days ago. One week ago I have confirmed my reservation for the launch at the store. When I came to the store on the launching day, they didn’t have it. It seems that pre-ordering and reservation are now different things, but they forgot to mention that any time before. Looks like doing a reservation does not guarantee that they will have the item for you?!?! I have bought launches from this store before, having reserved the same way I did, without any problem. So now I imagine if I have went to a hotel with a reservation and they tell me that my reservation does not guarantees me a room. Anyway, there seems to be a good reason why Videogame stores are on the edge of extinction. After this outrageous experience, I am never going to this store again. Shame on you...
