Hello team Hazif Mustafa,
I have been a loyal customer for many years. As I lived in Dubai for 12 years I have tried many stores but been a frequent loyal customer of Hazif the last couple of year. Consistently purchasing baklava for both personal enjoyment and as gifts for my clients. However, after last evening's experience, I am deeply disappointed and regret to say this might be my last visit.
While visiting Mall of the Emirates with my mother-in-law, who was eager to buy baklava to take home to Europe, we encountered a troubling situation. The employee assisting us allowed her to try only one type of baklava, while another family next to us was offered the opportunity to try four or five kindsâseemingly because they shared the same language. This clear display of preferential treatment was not only unfair but also disrespectful.
As someone who has consistently spent an average of 440â480 AED per month for the past two to three years at your store, I am appalled by this behavior. I make it a point to treat people equally, regardless of race or background, and I expect the same from businesses I support.
This incident has cost you a small but loyal customer. I hope this feedback serves as an opportunity for you to reflect and improve your customer service practices, ensuring all customers are treated with the fairness and respect they deserve.
To reply on your feedback, I actually told my mother in law not to buy anything but she promised a gift to a neighbor. If she was treated fairly she would have bought half the store but guess that is your lost.
All the best in the future but I am not stepping my foot...

The phyllo dough was incredibly crisp, while the nut filling had the perfect balance of sweetness with a hint of spices that elevated the flavor. The syrup was just right, keeping the dessert moist without being overpowering.
⢠On top of that, the service was excellent and Mehmet did a great job serving us, and the cozy atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable. The store is beautiful, by the way!!
⢠We tried the Pistachio Dry Baklava Dilim (28 AED) and loved it so much that we ordered a box of six sweets called Pistachio Classic (100 AED), undoubtedly delicious. For drinks, we tried the Espresso (25 AED) and the Americano (29 AED), but we didnât like them and wouldnât recommend the coffee. It was too strong and didnât have a good taste. (Prices March/2025)
⢠If you appreciate a great baklava and wonderful Middle East delights, this place is a must-visit at Mall of Emirates :)
