Situated directly across from snow hill station and adjacent to the Birmingham cathedral you will find the great Western arcade, If you have an interest in the architecture of the city, then the Great Western Arcade is well worth visiting. It is listed Victorian arcade which combines historic elegance with modern shopping. You will find numerous small speciality shops, a great place to window shop, with many independent retailers situated there, Little hidden gems in the shape of shops from pubs & purses, cigars & cafes, glasses & hats, sweets & skate wear, bridal & bags, sushi & shoes to a quirky pop up breakfast stand that does the best porridge perfect for a cold winters morning it has everything you need and more in one little strip It certainly gives you a feel of historic Birmingham and the Victorian heart of its city

We love walking through the Great Western Arcade in Birmingham. It's like walking back in time. You can almost imagine the ladies and gentlemen of the day walking past or looking in the shop windows at the wares for sale. The ladies going into the tea shop. Well that I suppose is history. There are a few shops there like cafes, restaurant, a pen shop both my favourite shops. There are shops that sell clothes. You would be amazed at those clothes. You can travel by either bus, tram or train or by car and is easy to find, if you go by tram. I go find if you need the toilet while at the Great Western Arcade best if you went to one of the cafes. Next time you go to Birmingham why not pay a visit if it's just to walk through while there feel the...

Lovely place to go for a day out. Indoor & outdoor shops & markets offering everything you could possibly be looking for. It's also not just a place for shopping but also to spend a day with friends & family just looking around or having some fun or eating at some of the Best places there is to eat. Driving through can get busy & parking is limited so good to get there early or better to go by bus, train or even or taxi & or even by plane with a short journey to the town centre. Please travel safely & take care. Please take valuables with you or as the police say look in boot out of sight from...
