Tried this twice, first time was a brown sugar bubble milk tea and the second time jasmine milk tea. I had a first ever bad experience somewhere else where the milk tea was actually just milk, so I’ve asked the staff the first time and they told me is milk tea so milk and milk tea. Ordered the jasmine milk tea on a separate time, it was just tea and milk! I asked the staff and they just responded yes it’s “milk tea, milk and tea”. As you can see in the photo, it was almost no tea. It was just milk and bubble. I was very disappointed paying £5.30 for a cup of milk. I could barely taste the jasmine tea or even sugar. Also have been told that they are really busy so need to be around or at least 15 minutes wait for the drink, which I didn’t mind at all! But for this quality. I don’t recommend going at all. The queueing / ordering system is very poor. All in all waited for about 30 mins for the drink including waiting to order…

Lay Teas is a great spot for authentic bubble tea lovers. They offer a wide range of flavours and customisation options, including four free toppings with your drink, which is a nice bonus. The medium cup is £4.80 and the large is £5.90, which is decent for the quality and portion. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and pleasant. The bubble tea itself was good — not exceptional, but definitely enjoyable if you’re in the mood for something sweet and refreshing. There’s also a nearby Chinese shop, which is handy if you want to explore or pick up some Asian groceries after your drink. Overall, a solid spot for bubble tea in the area — worth visiting if you're around!

Lay tea is very delicious. I have been drinking this milk tea shop in the UK for more than a year. The attitude of the staff is also very good. They will carefully ask customers what kind of milk tea they need, and will also be very patient to help customers recommend milk tea. The environment of the milk tea shop is also very good, which is very suitable for taking photos. When there are many people, customers will need to wait for a period of time, because each clerk is making milk tea very serious, and it will take a certain amount of time to make milk tea. Generally speaking, this milk tea shop is highly recommended.
