The Stella Historic Guesthouse is, without question, an absolutely wonderful place to stay and one of the true shining stars of North Wales hospitality. Perfectly located just off Mostyn Street, a short stroll from the pier and promenade, and nestled by the iconic Great Orme Tramway, it offers both convenience and charm in equal measure.||From the moment The Stella reopened in summer 2024, following a meticulous and complete refurbishment throughout 2023–24, we knew it was something special. In fact, we were honoured to be the very first guests to stay after its relaunch – and we’ve returned no less than 23 times since! That alone should say everything, but allow us to explain why we keep coming back.||The beds and bedding are exceptionally comfortable – some of the best we’ve experienced anywhere – and the bedrooms and bathrooms are not only very well-appointed, but also sensibly laid out with both function and style in mind. Every detail has been carefully considered to ensure guests are genuinely comfortable and relaxed.||The Californian-style breakfast is a brilliant and refreshing idea. Self-served, it offers something for everyone and can be enjoyed either in the bright, airy dining room or in the cosy snug complete with a beautiful fireplace – a lovely touch that gives the place a real feeling of home.||One of the great joys of The Stella is how it caters not just to two-legged guests but also to the four-legged members of the family. As a dog-friendly guesthouse, it offers the same level of care and thought for pets as it does for people, which we deeply appreciate.||Another standout feature is the lovely tiled patio area at the front, complete with comfy outdoor furniture. We’ve enjoyed many a sunny morning or afternoon relaxing out there, watching the world go by. Add to this the fact that The Stella offers limited parking – a real rarity in Llandudno, where many guesthouses have none – and you’ve got something truly special.||The owner is an absolute delight: warm, genial, extremely helpful, and clearly committed to maintaining the very highest of standards. ||Every visit feels like coming home, and it’s evident that a huge amount of care and pride goes into every aspect of running this exceptional guesthouse.||The Stella Guesthouse is absolutely superb, and we cannot recommend it...

Read moreMe, my fiancé and our Staffordshire Bull Terrier Reggie, all very much enjoyed our recent two night stay at the beautiful Stella Historic Llandudno Bed and Breakfast. ||We stayed in the Lorena room which included a car parking space. Having stayed in Llandudno a few times before, it was a huge bonus not having to worry about where to park and trying to find a space! ||The Stella has been lovingly restored by Kristin and wow, it is beyond beautiful. We have never stayed in a pet friendly accommodation of this standard before. Spotlessly clean, elegant and timeless and just a generally lovely place to be.||The Lorena room was stunning. It had a fantastic comfy super king size bed and a cheeky side sea view but it was all of the small touches that made it truly special. ||We had both human and dog treats to enjoy, a blanket so Reggie could enjoy his spot on the bed and a voucher to use at the pet shop on the pier (which we put to good use stocking up Reggie’s treat jar)!||We enjoyed meals in the dog friendly Kings Head, the Snowden and the Queen Victoria, all of which are only a short walk from the Stella. We also received a friendly and warm welcome and enjoyed a few well deserved drinks in the Irish Bar after a six mile walk around the Great Orme (which I would highly recommend for spectacular views).||When we retired back to the Stella in the evenings, we enjoyed playing some of the board games which were available. Even these were aesthetically pleasing, posing as vintage books (I’ve already ordered some for our home bookshelf), I loved them! ||Whilst still really close to all that Lllandudno has to offer, the Stella is on a quiet road and we all had a great nights sleep. ||Breakfast was a relaxed self service affair and the food was all fresh and delicious.||Thank you Kristin for sharing the Stella with us and for your patience and kindness with (our sometimes over excitable rescue) Reggie. ||We will definitely be...
