THIS IS THE EMAIL I SENT THE MORNING AFTER OUR VISIT WITH NO REPLY To whom it may concern, Me & my partner visited your restaurant Friday 25th July at 7pm and had the charcuterie board (see photo attached) & sticky toffee pudding, we left just before 8pm to head home. A few hours after getting home both me & my partner was suffering from severe vomiting and food poisoning symptoms, this continued throughout the night and the follow day.We hadn't eaten anything after the restaurant, and we strongly believe we had caught food poisoning from our meal at your restaurant. The whole day on the Saturday 26th July we both was vomiting, diarrhoea and stomach cramps. Please can someone get in touch by responding to this email. Many thanks Kieron

Stayed here for one night for my wife’s birthday. Can honestly say this is a gem of a place. We were told to phone just before arrival so we could be shown where to park. The hotel has 4 parking spots along side the building and the staff use these during the day then move for you to park. We stayed in room one which was well furnished, warm and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant at night and chose the sharing sea food platter which was amazing. Great atmosphere and excellent service. The breakfast was superb which you order on arrival. Again all food was cooked well and the quality was excellent. Couldn’t fault anything during our stay, we were made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return

My husband and I had a 6.30 booking on a weekday. We arrived and it was very quiet. The manager was extremely attentive. We ordered 4 of the sharing plates - mussels, white fish, salmon and arancini. All were delicious. The mussels were the largest I've ever seen, and we order them a lot so we do know our mussels. The atmosphere soon picked up as it got busier. We had desserts - a cherry tart and cheesecake. Both were nice but nothing to write home about - unlike the main meal which was exceptional. I'd fully recommend it as it was the best seafood meal we had had in a long time. We watched food arrive for other tables too and it all looked fabulous.

Nice little place, to be fair. They do the trendy small plates thing, which means you can have a light dinner relatively cheaply and sample a variety of dishes with the sharing plates. If you order enough for 2 sharing with wine and coffee, then it isnt quite so cheap. We had a decent bottle of Gavi for 25 quid, which is not a bad price, and the cocktails are under £7, but aren't particularly exciting. Note to management... lemon has no place in a "dark 'n' stormy". I returned the first one and asked specifically for lime instead of lemon ... it came with a modicum of lime, but also a slice of orange, and was noticeably weaker than the first one. Orange!! Star dishes for us were the Asian chicken and the cointreau syllabub (which needs more cointreau, tbh) Nice ambience with good music at a sensible volume. Quite quick service. We ate here on two consecutive evenings. It seems quite popular. Staff are friendly enough, if a little businesslike. We would eat...
