The building was splendid and I loved seeing all the art objects commissioned by the Freemasons since the 18th century. Some beautiful pieces produced, among others, by Wedgwood, Meissen porcelain factory, and Alphonse Mucha. I was definitely not expecting so many commissions from renowned manufacturers and artists! It was very informative and showed how long the Freemasonry existed and its wide geographical scope. The same applies to the economic divisions within the lodges, as some items were produced by local manufacturers and not superstar artists. While the collection of object is splendid, it was kinda hard to follow the narrative. I found myself mostly relying on the knowledge I had before, otherwise I would feel very lost with the text panels. Perhaps it would be easier with an audioguide or during a guided tour. I think some of the aprons and etchings would benefit from explaining the iconography in the labels. For example, I still don’t know why the Temple of Solomon was important, I just know that it appears in some of the Freemasonry media.

Freemasons are a fraternity organisation and now mostly a target for conspiracy theorists. All these years I've worked in Holborn, walked past this building and never had a thought about it. It's a grand building and typical example of Art deco, especially when you go inside. Everything is designed in the classical art deco style with it's long straight lines, regular patterns to the geometric motifs. There are regular guided tours Monday to Saturdays when the Library/Museum is open. Best of all the guided tour is free. I found the guide interesting, informative and amusing. The tour I learned a lot the Freemasons, their purpose, how they're organised, their meetings. You can definitely visit the museum and library without going on the guided tour, but then you'll miss on on seeing the Grand Temple, which is unmissable. Don't miss the museum especially the gifts from other freemason organisations around the world. There's also the library where you can search for family history of Freemasonry.

If you are interested in freemasonry this is the best museum I have been to in the UK. It is set in the very grand building of Freemasons hall in Holborn. It's stunning art Deco style and interior that is beautifully done makes you step into a world of old, none of this minimalist design. From the floor to the ceiling is decked out in grand finishings. I am always impressed when I visit this building, as it has other events on such as fashion shows, open house and fairs. Many a film and television series has been filmed here. The museum is very interesting and grand. It has beautiful displays with plenty of history and information about freemasonry. It is very interesting and one can spend a fair amount of time here. I highly recommend here. Please press like if you find my review helpful. Thank you

We attended the Christmas carol service and it was great I really enjoyed myself and so did my girlfriend. We got to sing along and it was wonderful. It was held in the grand temple of fmh and the ground floor was nearly a full house. They did such a wonderful job entertaining us and the entire audience loved it. I can't highly recommend the event on the run up to Christmas. Have a wonderful...
