Visited there today at around 3:30 and am extremely disappointed as well as (second hand) embarrassed by the service I got there.
Before I begin Iâd like to specify that Iâm talking about the larger woman who works there and can give more information if replied to if you need help identifying her. I came in to quickly buy some underwear and socks, went to the checkout and was already greeted by what was the most miserable face Iâve ever seen. No hello or anything just picked up my items removed the tags as she scanned it and didnât even carefully place them down just threw them realistically. Once I had paid she just went to walk to walk away then saw I was still standing there so by this point I just put the items in my bag since I wasnât offered one. She then said âtake your receiptâ instead of handing me it kindly. Not even âwould you like your receiptâ or âhereâs your receiptâ just TELLING me to take the receipt?!
I then came to realisation I had bought the wrong product let her know that I wanted to swap for different color and she miserably said âwell we will have to get that refunded and start again thenâ as she sluggishly walked back towards the til. Despite her rude mannerisms after paying for it a second time I still said politely âthank youâ and was smiley the whole time and she didnât even respond to say youâre welcome or goodbye. This type of behaviour is not only embarrassing for such a big company, but is also hostile and I can promise you now if it was me on the wrong day or someone else there to experience that there will be a massive problem from her actions soon to come!
Her behaviour was so disgusting Iâm not settling for leaving it here. I will be contacting the headquarters in Shirebrooke to make sure theyâre aware of her behaviour and evidently by the 2.9* review for whatâs meant to be a big company, a revamp in your staff or at least her gone is strongly recommended!
On the brighter side I am happy with the products I have bought - but this shop is in urgent need of a self checkout if they have staff as miserable as...
Read moreWe called into the store during a trip to London, needing a couple of cycling shirts fit a present. On entering we asked where to find them and a very pleasant young man gave us precise directions to the correct area in the basement. We chose the shirts and spotted ladies hoodies. As my wife had been cold whilst traveling she tried some on. Then a very loud lady customer appeared, immediately calling out for assistance. When an assistant appeared the customer berated her for some time, loudly enough for all around to hear, how there were never staff around to assist her. This carried on for some time and was obviously done by the customer to embarrass the young female assistant. The the young man who had previously given us directions arrived. We the realised he seemed to be the manager. He very professionally and as quietly as possible, dealt with the situation and returned upstairs. We chose a hoodie which seemed the best fit and went up to pay. We asked the same young man whether they another hoodie in the same size. He noticed we had chosen a large size and very astutely suggested the men's hoodies would be a better fit for my wife. In all, we cannot commend this young man enough. In fact, as we left, another customer was thanking him...

I want to share my shopping experience with sports direct Fulham north end road. I brought shoes from there less than a month ago and one shoe became broken. The receipt said there is no date. I used the shoe five to six times. I spent fifty five pounds. I went to store and explained to manager. He started looking at me and he said this kind of shoe I brought should be worn only for an hour or thirty minutes. I dont understand what he is trying to say. He said he can give me a discount five pounds if I buy something. I said to him I not wealthy to spend fifty five pounds on shoes every week. I just wanted his help for a refund because sport direct has twenty eight days return policy.
He started laughing and shaking his pockets. He told me look I am poorer then you. I just got coins in my pocket. A manager has to be kind and compassionate towards their customers. His behaviour is not professional and insulting. I asked him again can you help about this he said no. He said my time is important leave the store. I am very disappointed about this and I will never go for shop at sports direct...
