St. Etheldreda's RC Church, Farringdon — Attraction in London

As an American visiting London for a week, I was blessed to find this church. It's 13th century gem with a Sunday Mass at 11 am, sung in Latin. It was absolutely beautiful, and was expertly sung in glory to God! Also, the pastor had a wonderful and relevant homily.

There is a great selection of home guides on many things, as well as history on the church. Hard to find, though! Cool about London is buildings 800 years old rubbing shoulders with structures built a few years ago, but sometimes makes the ancient ones hard to find!...

Off the beaten track, it took us a little while to find this fabulous old church. With a feel of stepping back in time, we found peace and solace in this wonderful spiritual space. We were the only people there, which meant we could take our time to appreciate the stained glass windows and historical architecture. It's always worth reading up on the history of places like this... so interesting, and it then you realise this church a very special...

My husband and I celebrated an intimate Convalidation Ceremony at St. Etheldreda's at 4pm in February 2023. We could not have been more pleased with everyone who made our day so lovely and memorable, from the Parish Administrator, to the organist and soloist, to (of course) Father Tom Thomas.
