Westferry — Attraction in London

To the west of the station is a group of blue arches which trains pass through. To the east of the station, is an amazing view of the Canary Wharf skyline. Since the station's rebuild and platform extensions, there are some nice floor-to-ceiling windows. Although the concourses and the station's environs are a bit dull. Unfortunately, the western lifts have only one doorway for entry and exit, and the doorways are narrow, which may pose difficulties for wheelchair users and passengers with buggies. Westferry is a DLR station. It is good if you want to catch the DLR to Bank, Lewisham, Woolwich Arsenal, Stratford or Beckton and all station in between. Not really any good for anything else. Lifts to the platforms and good display of train times and destinations. I suppose it is also good if you want to go to someplace near the station but I'm not sure what there is...

The place is soothing for a walk, especially on Sundays, since most of the shops are closed and so it's less busy.
