I had a really disappointing experience at Boots Central Milton Keynes today. I waited over an hour for my prescription, only to find out that it had been misplaced and couldnât be found. When they eventually located it, one of the staff members kindly apologised and said sheâd try to expedite it â which I appreciated â but even after another 20 minutes there was still no sign of it.
By this point, my two-year-old really needed the toilet. As the store was already closed, I couldnât leave and come back, and when I asked again about my prescription, the staff member seemed confused and still couldnât find it for another ten minutes. I then asked if there was any customer toilet or something we could do, only to be told there wasnât one available.
Eventually, after waiting nearly an hour and a half, I was finally handed my prescription â except it wasnât even complete. I now have to return again to collect the rest. Throughout this whole ordeal, not a single staff member showed any compassion or offered any practical help, even as it was obvious how distressed I was and my child was on the verge of an accident.
I left the store without a full prescription and with a very upset two-year-old who unfortunately couldnât hold it any longer. I expected a much higher level of organisation, communication, and basic empathy...
Read moreVisited the pharmacy today to collect a prescription. On the back was an exemption number and written on the front was exemption also. There was a young girl serving and she asked us to return within 40 minutes which we did, she then asked me to pay for each item. I explained about the exemption and she said ok and spoke to her colleague Lynn who was very rude and condescending. She said I would have to pay, I again expressed I was exempt and she said we will have to check with the pharmacist. He is in a consultation, "what do you want me to do, knock?". How rude is she, I asked for my prescription back as I needed to self administer and it was returned, then as we left the shop the young lady came out and said she needed the prescription back, I declined. As a result of this I have had to get two lots of self administering syringes of different dosages and there was no charge. Totally disappointed, will not use this pharmacy again and Lynn needs training in...
Read moreThe ladies at the perfume counter are very rude. They pressurise you to purchase the brands under them, and if u ask to see other perfumes they become disinterested and stop showing the perfumes and become rude. I went to buy a perfume from chanel and since the lady representing chanel wasnât present the others werenât interested in helping me test it. When I asked for an eau de parfum she gave me an eau de toilette and when I asked her to cross check since it was a gift, her response was I know what Iâm doing. When I went back to exchange it, she asked another lady to do it and that lady told me I donât have time for it while she was chatting with another associate. The people at the makeup sections are nice and friendly but the ladies at perfume are very rude. I have stopped buying perfumes from that store. I prefer the ones at Kingston or Bletchley, although they are small but the people there are humble...
