This is a nice place. Plenty of food choice even for the pizza brigade. There are many different shops/restaurants in here (about 35) so there is a bit to look at before you move on. The Foucault Pendulum is in here which is a nice novelty. Well worth a visit if you are in Glasgow for a while. I have fond memories of this place as I was working in there when the shops were still being worked on. I remember the pendulum being the big talking point at the time. I also remember a guy sitting at a piano on the first floor singing and playing away for an hour or so on some days for the cafe where the lunch time shoppers used to sit with a coffee and cigarette. (Yes it was allowed back then). I also remember scorching a piece of pipe lagging at about 2:30 a.m. while working late. It set off the fire alarm, the extract fans and emergency lighting. I ran to the security office to let them know it was a false alarm and there was only my work mate and myself in the building. He laughed and pointed at the camera monitor. Outside there were 2 police cars, a police white van and about 30 clubbers on their way home. I felt like a right idiot but all's well that ends well. I never heard anything about it so I guess it was a (kind of) lucky night. Do I...

Its been quite some time since I have been here,as it used to be a great favourite place to visit in Glasgow. Unfortunately due to ill health and being a wheelchair user. I was delighted to be accompanied there. We wanted a coffee first and with a bit of difficulty manouvered just, into lift, but were so disapointed when after stuggling out of the lift, we had to immediately return as the way the outside space with the restraunts it is impossible to navigate to get anywhere. I cannot explain how disapointing this experience was. We did get a coffee and I was able to purchase chocolates and some jewellry with accessibility difficulty. Staff did their best, but its really difficult when you wish to buy nice things and are unable to. The internet is fantastic, but its so much nicer when an assistant can give you the help you are looking for. Can something be done in this age of inclusion? This is something that should have been thought of in the beginning, very...

Princes Square has always been a 'little gem' at the side in Buchanan St. Shops in here seem to come and go on a regular basis. I must admit to miss the giant pendulum that saved around inside. ( showing my age ??) Anyhoo, dropped in on Sunday morning and had breakfast at "Cranachan" .... I wasn't too impressed though. I had a 'full Scottish ' and madam had this spicy baked egg thingy that looked ...yeuch .... but apparently tasted nice ( she cleared her plate !) . Mine however, was nice enough but was cold, and when I mentioned to the waitress she apologised, shrugged her shoulders and cleared the table. Nothing off the bill and that was that. . .

There is a few places to choose from though, and with that in mind we won't be back here...

This has been and continues to be one of the best shopping centres in Glasgow even after Buchanan Galleries and St. Enoch Centre upped their game. Princes Square doesn't match Buchanan Galleries or St Enoch for the sheer number of shops, but the interior here is far more beautiful with it's lovely Art Nouveau staircase and railings. Everything inside just feels more elegant. I especially love coming to L'Hotel Chocolat to treat myself and the nieces. As other reviewers have mentioned, the vast majority of the shops are aimed at women, with Ted Baker being the sole clothing shop I'd visit. Although I do occasionally come here my friends for coffee simply because it's so much nicer.

Princes Square is a beautiful and historic shopping center in Glasgow, Scotland. It was first built in the 1840s and was restored and reopened in 1988. The center is known for its stunning architecture, which features a glass- and-steel dome and a central courtyard with fountains. Princes Square is home to a variety of high-end shops, including Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Burberry. There is also a food court with a variety of restaurants, including Zizzi, The Botanist, and Côte Brasserie. The center is a popular tourist destination, but it is also a great place to shop for locals. It is a bit on the pricey side, but the experience is worth it.

Princes Square is a hidden gem right in the middle of Glasgow’s busiest street. Once you step inside, it feels like you’ve entered a completely different world—elegant, calm, and full of charm. The interior design is stunning, with its glass ceiling, stylish staircases, and artistic details. It’s not your typical shopping centre; it’s more like a blend of boutique shopping, fine dining, and art. Perfect place for a quiet coffee, a classy dinner, or just wandering around in style. A must-visit if you’re in the city centre!
