I recently had the opportunity to embark on a Denali Tour with Glacier Landing, courtesy of Talkeetna Air Taxi, and I must say it was an absolute highlight of my life. From their exceptional customer service to the awe-inspiring experience itself, everything exceeded my expectations.

One of the standout aspects of Talkeetna Air Taxi was their remarkable flexibility when it came to their cancellation policy. Initially scheduled for a Tuesday, my tour had to be rescheduled due to unfavorable weather conditions for a glacier landing. However, the team promptly offered me the option to reschedule for another day or provided a complete refund, prioritizing safety above all else. This demonstrated their commitment to ensuring the best experience for their customers, even if it meant accommodating changes.

Though initially disappointed, I rescheduled the tour for Friday, hoping for better weather conditions, and I was not disappointed. The tour was an absolute delight from start to finish. The breathtaking views of the mountains and, in particular, the majestic Mt. Denali left me speechless. The moment of landing on the glacier was simply surreal and an experience that will forever be etched in my memory.

The pilot’s expertise was evident throughout the journey, and his informative commentary added an extra layer of depth to the experience. I found myself captivated by the stories and knowledge shared, enhancing the overall understanding and appreciation of the stunning landscape surrounding us.

After researching many flight tours we decided on this one. We also had partaken in some wine while we were shopping for tours, haha. We spent the extra money for the experience, convenience of the cancellation policy. The morning of the flight I had fallen and torn ligaments in my ankle and wrist. A very nice lady at the shop helped me put on my boots. She was so kind I started to cry. I was so moved by all the courtesies extended to me by all staff. This tour was heaven sent to my husband and I. We have spent the last 2 years working full time, being care givers for 5 seniors and we welcomed 2 grandchildren. My husbands mother passed away a month prior to the flight. I prayed for a sunny day. My prayers were answered. We are now part of the 30% club to ever see Denali on a clear day. We dedicate our memory of this flight to my dad who beat cancer, my mom who is battling cancer and DHJ our mom/ in law who passed away in May.

Chris was our pilot was amazing! He was kind, knowledgeable and accommodating. We had an older man on our flight from South Africa named Trever. He had made it to the summit of Denali in 1979. His family gave the flight to him as a gift. This was an added special story. The entire flight team was amazing. If you are at all hesitant about the trip, don’t be, just take the time to have your breath taken away. The people, the views, the beauty were priceless. We left a lot of emotion on that Glacier but took away magical memories. This is one that is worth it. Just click and experience life. Thank You Talkeetna Air Taxi for this experience! 10/10 recommend Talkeetna Air Taxi! Seriously if you’re looking for a flight tour, this is the company to go through. We had an amazing time with breath taking views that made this trip absolutely magical. The mountains and landscapes were astonishing. So many glaciers, mountain peaks, ridgelines and of course Denali. Everyone at TAT was so friendly, professional, accommodating, knowledgeable and patient! Everyone in the office was great. Amanda was the one who got me and my group of 10 people booked and ready for our trip! I didn’t have a for sure amount of 10 people when I first called to schedule, but Amanda was patient and flexible with me until I could confirm my whole group. Her and another lady (I’m sorry I forgot your name) were so helpful with answering my multitude of questions and helping us to feel assured and ready for our trip. Our pilot Clay was excellent! He was cool, calm, fun and knowledgeable providing us with great information all throughout the trip. And most importantly he kept us safe! He checked on us throughout the flight making sure we were comfortable, updated us on when their might be some turbulence and was patient with our photo taking on the glacier and with our little kiddos we had with us. The office was clean, warming and had a true Alaskan feel to it. The plane ride was comfortable and even though I get nervous with turbulence (we had very little of it on our flight) I still felt very safe. I have 4 other friends that have used this company and they all have had the same positive, exhilarating and time of their life experience with this company. I will certainly be referring my friends and family here and if I get the second chance, I will be flying with them again.
