Came here for lunch while visiting Talkeetna for the day. We came a little before opening since there were some large tour groups in town. Since it was opening, there was no line and plenty of tables to choose from. Ordered the large Mountain High Pizza that comes with over 30 ingredients. I wasn't sure how that many ingredients would come together, but it went well together and didn't taste like a mashup of ingredients. Sat outside as the weather was perfect and there were plenty of tables. Pizza was delivered to the able in about 15 minutes and looked great. It was 8 large slices that was perfect for sharing. There was a band playing later in the evening, but we left before they started. Walked by later in the evening when the band was playing and it was completed packed. Overall, good service, food, and atmosphere.

I have a friend who is picky when it comes to women. Recently I asked him a series of questions that go “she checks off all of your boxes… except __”, and then would fill in the blank with different deal breakers to see if he would be okay with it. And I admit those dealbreakers are a little silly like “she likes Lebron James” (he hates Lebron James). What does this analogy have to do with MHPP? Well… I kind of feel like I found everything amazing about it except their food/pizza. Great atmosphere, service, music, etc except their pizza. It literally checks off all of my boxes.... except the pizza LOL. The pizza... I suppose it’s just alright… decent toppings, but minimal sauce, and undercooked crust. Regardless, I’d definitely recommend checking this place out for at least part of your evening.

Our first time was in April when it was still slushie and snowy. Our second time we knew we were coming here. We came here first both times. We enjoy the "Main street gossip" pizza 🍕. It is pricey, but we have loved it each time. You can sit inside or outside, buy merchandise, and they had large cranberry white chocolate cookies for 3 bucks. Best cookie I have ever had . I loved it. 😍 We enjoy trying new places and it was worth the trip both times! We have only tried the pizza and cannot comment on the other foods. We have our sticker and pen to remember the place. They were friendly staff here and the place looks beautiful. They do have restrooms here. It was not usual for me to see a washer and dryer inside but it was clean and cool to see.

We came in for lunch and we were treated to excellent service, great food, and a friendly atmosphere. The pizzas are big, so as a group of 4 my wife and I shared a pizza and salad. The three rivers salad was huge! Tzatziki dressing was creamy and tasty. The pizza was tasty and the crust was on point. Just the right amount of crunch, but still soft. They even got me extra marinara to dip the crust in, which I was grateful for. It was a bit overcast and cold, but you could sit outside. I have been here once before in 2021, and it is still “the best pizza in Talkeetna!😜” It would be a great pizza in Colorado too. Definitely eat here if you get the chance. While visiting Talkeetna, my kids were craving pizza and i lectured them about buying food from tourist areas as it was usually pretty bad. Unfortunately (or fortunately as it turned out) there weren't many choices in the area. So we sat down and ordered pizza and bread sticks. To my surprise, the pizza was dang good! The bread sticks could use some work but the pizza was very good by any measure. I had to eat my own words and admit i was wrong on this one. Prices were reasonable, the staff was very nice, and the place was clean. All in all, I'd be very happy with this pizza joint even outside of a tourist area; it's just dang good pizza! Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our lunch here, we do however wish there was more direction as to how things are supposed to be done. We weren’t sure if we were to order at the counter or the table. We saw menus on the table but you have to order at the counter or the bar we found out after already being at a table. We ordered a Chuli bread, carnivore pizza & the mountain high pizza. The chuli was the star of the show though, it was so soft and yummy. The carnivore was great but the mountain high would definitely be for acquired tastebuds. Overall our experience was good and if we were in the area again we would check it out.
