Indiana Jones™ Adventure — Attraction in Anaheim

Indiana Jones is still a great attraction, but it is a shell of what it once was. It used to be more thrilling and had more effects, but some of the most impressive ones have been phased out throughout the decades. The attraction still holds up, however and is a must-do. This ride is prone to having extended periods of downtime and can be unreliable at park opening. My suggestion is that if there is a minimal or no outdoor queue, join the standby line. The merge point for Lightning Lane and standby is at the entrance at the temple, so if there is no line outside the building, the entire queue is inside and not separated. When it is inside, it is usually anywhere from 20-30 minute of a wait. If the line snakes through the outside portion of the queue, pull a Lightning Lane if you purchased the MultiPass and come back later. The indoor queue is more ornate than the outside queue, so you won't be missing much of the experience if you skip it. Hope that during your ride the boulder effect works. WOW! What a rush! I rode Indiana Jones Adventure twice last week and it was even better the second time around. This ride is an absolute masterpiece, bringing the thrill and excitement of the movies to life in a way I never thought possible. The attention to detail is incredible. From the moment you step into the queue, you're transported deep into the world of Indiana Jones. The pre-show sets the perfect tone, and once you're in the "jeep," the adventure begins! The ride perfectly captures the spirit of the films, with heart-pounding chases, close calls with giant snakes (just like Mr. Jones hates!), and the race to find the legendary relic. The special effects are top-notch and the ride system is so clever—it truly feels like you're on a wild, unpredictable journey. I loved how the ride is different every time, making each experience unique. I can't wait to go back and try it again. The Indiana Jones™ Adventure ride was absolutely superb! Before you even get on the ride, the pre-show really sets the tone and gets you ready for what’s to come. I thought that was such a fun touch—it’s like stepping right into the world of Indiana Jones.

Once we hopped into the jeep, it was game on! The ride took us on an adventure that truly captured the spirit of the movies. Every twist, turn, and sudden drop brought back memories of why I loved watching the Indiana Jones™ films. It felt like I was living out one of the scenes right there in real life.

For me, this was a standout ride because it’s not just about the thrills—it’s about the whole experience. From the atmosphere to the details, it reminded me why the Indiana Jones™ movies were so great. If you’re a fan, you’ll walk off this ride grinning ear to ear like I did.
