Next Sunday, March 4, is the last expected Mass held at the Methodist Aspen Community Church (200 Bleek St. @11:00), as Mass will be held at St Mary’s again after that (@10:00).
It was nice to find a place to go to Church during our trip. I was surprised to find that most attendants were [extremely kind] locals. I hope more visitors will make time to go. I'll never forget the day back years ago where I spent most of a Saturday trying (stupidly) to climb North Maroon Peak solo, in the rain and snow. I eventually wisely gave up on my ascent, and turned around. Once back down on safer ground, I was cold, wet, and tired. I changed into drier, and more presentable clothes, and then headed to Mass.
