I have been a client of Kate’s for 9 years. I first met her when my hair was so fried that I had to cut my hair off in a bob. During my initial consultation, she said ā€œThis should be ILLEGAL what has been done to your hair. Literally, HAIR ABUSE!ā€ From Day 1, she has gone above and beyond to provide HONEST and real RESULTS to have beautiful, healthy blonde hair. She is the #1 blonde colorist in the state of Georgia. Every client looks AMAZING because that is a direct reflection of her work. Do you really think Bellami would have her speak in Las Vegas at their annual conference if she was really that bad? I think not! Back to my hair journey. We started off slow with the transformation. Our goal was to get my hair healthy first, then slowly get my hair ice white and bright. She has always been extremely transparent about what we can achieve and the next steps to achieve my ideal color. She told me EXACTLY what products to use and never pushed expensive products. We always kept my budget in mind and I just simply LISTENED to her advice. She is not GOD or a MAGICIAN that can magically transform your hair overnight. Please if you know a stylist that can truly do this, oh wait, there is not one! PATIENCE is key and good results take time. This applies to all AESTHETIC SERVICES! You get what you pay for. It takes 3-5 hours to process my hair because NO HEAT is involved during the process so I ACHIEVE my desired RESULTS without damaging my hair. I did a consultation for extensions and she was transparent as usual. As much as I adore the staff and Kate, I don’t want to come in every 2 weeks to get my hair tightened. We decided since I am a busy young professional, let’s go the natural route and let my hair grow out naturally. She has always been mindful of my TIME and I RESPECT her time as well. The moral of this story is you have to put the WORK in as well. I have used the correct products, tools, and I lead a healthy lifestyle. Collagen and vitamins do wonders. My hair has grown out and my color looks great because I LISTEN and use the SAME STYLIST. Kate, Jessica, Jamie, Kara, and Elle have always been kind, honest, and professional. I consider my time at the salon as a way to catch up and have girls time with my salon family. Please do not take their directness and honesty as them being rude. They only want the best for you! I start my day reading the WS Journal and not particularly a fan of Instagram or TikTok. If you want to believe in disinformation and go to a stylist that will tell you what you want to HEAR, their chair is open and waiting for you to be disappointed and take your wallet along for the ride!! Sincerely, A real client that is not an influencer and maintains a PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIP with the salon. P.S. The salon has a large social media presence because they operate in a virtual business. They showcase their empirical evidence of high-touch client services with PROVEN results. Don’t hate on their success! Would you want someone trashing your business over petty comments when they can be RESOLVED face-to-face? You know they will ALWAYS provide a solution within reason to make you HAPPY! Give them the opportunity versus writing a nasty review!

If I can give MINUS ZERO And No Star I WILL . Please read all the negative comments from others , and it will give you an idea about this place . Save your money to true business who appreciate repeat clients.. I am a client of theirs for a year now , this place is a joke , no respect . Attitude from Fake Kate to her clients and minions , she is a BULLY on steroids. They burned my hair several times , bad hair quality extensions fell many times for one of my special trips a week after installing, and when I came back told them and showed photos, did not even get sorry . my appointment always changing from their side because, Fake Kate dog is sick or she is late or their appointment are missed up !! Since they only work with texts it’s the hardest to communicate right . !!! . You must be asking why Kept going back !!!! Reason is I usually don’t stay a lot in Atlanta and every time I would think next time will be better and I am already new in Atlanta hard to find a salon before and after COVID . Until today was my husband Birthday dinner . My roots were showing long with grey hair after 2 months of traveling beach distinctions, my hair was a mess !!! Appointment was at 11:00 am . They texted if I can come at 1:30 because they are backed up with appointments. I agreed even when I was already in my car on my way to them . I get in .. no thanks no acknowledgment!!! rushed into a seat and a minion who starred separating my hair , mixed color and started foiling my hair .. FAKE KATE is usually who at least should know what I want and tell them the color since I pay her price !! She did not even look my side . I told the minion wait I needto tell you what color I want .. she said don’t worry I know .. so Fake KATE from a distance heard the minion.. told me ok then what do you want ! This or that ( choices ) and they continue working . I asked the minion another service for my hair . Her answer was REMIND ME . I said you need me to remind you ! She said in the most RUDE WAY when she knows me , knows my name .. MAM YES .. you NEED to remind me MAM we are BUSY . When they only had 3 clients and staff was more THAN CLIENTS. plus empty chairs …She dropped everything and went to Fake Kate ear !!! Fake Kate who was not even working on my hair because she is still doing other client hair listening to her minions story not even knowing what happened came very OVERWHELMED with her mess in the salon telling me If I don’t like being called MAM ( pulling the southern card ) insulting me with her loud annoying voice .I SHOULD LEAVE . What a joke this FAKE KATE is .

KB salon is beyond amazing. I recommend to anyone i can. I am from south Florida and I’ve seen some really highly skilled individuals in the industry but this is the absolute best my hair has every looked, and even more importantly, the healthiest. Communication with staff for booking is impeccable, they are very thorough, manage expectations, and follow up. The actual appointment itself it’s like a synchronized symphony of talent. The main consult in the beginning it has pretty much already taken place via the booking process, so it’s just affirming that those are the things that you want to accomplish, during the appointment you have a skilled professional for each specialized segment. Also more is not more and Kate’s eyes, Kate will not allow you to spend money that she doesn’t feel you need. If you’re doing fine with tape in extensions, she’s not going to have you move onto weft. She refuses to do anything that will damage or ruin your hair, even if you request it. I love the team effort and everybody there is equally great. I want to also set a misconception that I had prior to coming to the salon in 2023 that this is more for blondes. I have one shade away from jet black hair naturally, and we maintain my natural color with some gray coverage… we played around a little bit with lifting it to get some dimensional color which has been a game changer. That speaks volumes to the skill set that you’re able to lift such a dark hair and you’ve got a non-brassy tone with zero damage. My natural hair is probably 28 inches long and it grows like a weed. I have to go back every five or six weeks it’s so healthy. Even when working in a smaller space before the grandiose absolutely stunning salon was completed It was still the most organized process I’ve ever seen in my 40 years of life.. do yourself a favor put your hair health first and book with Kate, or one of her amazing stylists. It’s like an immersive experience, that’s dripping in decadence and indulgence, and it feels like a little mini vacation from the every day hustle and bustle. I can’t say enough good things..

You get what you pay for. It takes 3-5 hours to process my hair because NO HEAT is involved during the process so I ACHIEVE my desired RESULTS without damaging my hair.

I did a consultation for extensions and she was transparent as usual. As much as I adore the staff and Kate, I don’t want to come in every 2 weeks to get my hair tightened. We decided since I am a busy young professional, let’s go the natural route and let my hair grow out naturally. She has always been mindful of my TIME and I RESPECT her time as well.

The moral of this story is you have to put the WORK in as well. I have used the correct products, tools, and I lead a healthy lifestyle. Collagen and vitamins do wonders. My hair has grown out and my color looks great because I LISTEN and use the SAME STYLIST.

Kate, Jessica, Jamie, Kara, and Elle have always been kind, honest, and professional. I consider my time at the salon as a way to catch up and have girls time with my salon family. Please do not take their directness and honesty as them being rude. They only want the best for you!

I start my day reading the WS Journal and not particularly a fan of Instagram or TikTok. If you want to believe in disinformation and go to a stylist that will tell you what you want to HEAR, their chair is open and waiting for you to be disappointed and take your wallet along for the ride!!

I’m usually not the type to leave reviews, but since I haven’t received any response from the salon for over three days, I figured this is the best way to share my experience. Unfortunately, I won’t be booking another appointment.

I spent over $700 on my hair and products at this salon, so I was really hoping for a smooth, professional experience — especially when it came to communication and follow-up. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.

This was my first visit to the salon, and I was genuinely excited. I had waited a few weeks to book with Mary, who had just come back from maternity leave (and by the way, her baby is absolutely adorable!). Mary is super sweet, easy to talk to, and did a fantastic job with the placement of my highlights.

After my hair was done, she mentioned that it looked a little bit lighter than what I was thinking — but we decided I would sit with it and see how I felt. If anything changed, I could let her know. That was super professional of her and very thoughtful to acknowledge that upfront.

After a few days, I realized the color just wasn’t working for me — it was too light — so I reached out to the salon to ask about getting a simple toner correction (no bleach, nothing major). Unfortunately, all communication is done through text, and it took over three days just to get a reply. Then it took another three days to receive scheduling information.

We finally got an appointment booked, but I had to cancel due to a death in my family. Since then, I’ve tried multiple times to reschedule, but the same communication delays continued — slow responses, vague answers like ā€œI’ll check the schedule,ā€ and no follow-through. It’s now been over a week since my last message with no update.

Because of the delays and lack of response, I ended up going to another salon and paying to get my hair toned and corrected to the shade I originally wanted.

I, too, have a super busy schedule, so making time to get my hair done when I can is really important to me. I just would’ve expected more communication, especially considering the cost and time involved.

I completely understand that everyone has busy schedules — stylists and clients alike — but taking over three days to respond to a client is a bit much, especially when it's about correcting a service. There just didn’t seem to be much urgency or follow-up, which was really disappointing.

I would’ve expected better communication, especially given the price tag they’re charging for hair services. That said, I still want to be clear that I think Mary is fantastic — she’s talented, kind, and really made the appointment enjoyable.

I was going to my previous hair stylist for over 7 years and switched to be closer to my home. So typically pretty loyal. However, unfortunately , the quality of the communication just isn’t worth it for me.

I truly hope Mary continues to stay booked and busy — she deserves it. But sadly, I won’t be returning. The lack of consistent, timely communication made the overall experience more frustrating than it...

If I can give MINUS ZERO And No Star I WILL . Please read all the negative comments from others , and it will give you an idea about this place . Save your money to true business who appreciate repeat clients.. I am a client of theirs for a year now , this place is a joke , no respect . Attitude from Fake Kate to her clients and minions , she is a BULLY on steroids. They burned my hair several times , bad hair quality extensions fell many times for one of my special trips a week after installing, and when I came back told them and showed photos, did not even get sorry . my appointment always changing from their side because, Fake Kate dog is sick or she is late or their appointment are missed up !! Since they only work with texts it’s the hardest to communicate right . !!! . You must be asking why Kept going back !!!! Reason is I usually don’t stay a lot in Atlanta and every time I would think next time will be better and I am already new in Atlanta hard to find a salon before and after COVID . Until today was my husband Birthday dinner . My roots were showing long with grey hair after 2 months of traveling beach distinctions, my hair was a mess !!! Appointment was at 11:00 am . They texted if I can come at 1:30 because they are backed up with appointments. I agreed even when I was already in my car on my way to them . I get in .. no thanks no acknowledgment!!! rushed into a seat and a minion who starred separating my hair , mixed color and started foiling my hair .. FAKE KATE is usually who at least should know what I want and tell them the color since I pay her price !! She did not even look my side . I told the minion wait I needto tell you what color I want .. she said don’t worry I know .. so Fake KATE from a distance heard the minion.. told me ok then what do you want ! This or that ( choices ) and they continue working . I asked the minion another service for my hair . Her answer was REMIND ME . I said you need me to remind you ! She said in the most RUDE WAY when she knows me , knows my name .. MAM YES .. you NEED to remind me MAM we are BUSY . When they only had 3 clients and staff was more THAN CLIENTS. plus empty chairs …She dropped everything and went to Fake Kate ear !!! Fake Kate who was not even working on my hair because she is still doing other client hair listening to her minions story not even knowing what happened came very OVERWHELMED with her mess in the salon telling me If I don’t like being called MAM ( pulling the southern card ) insulting me with her loud annoying voice .I SHOULD LEAVE . What a joke this...
