I have been a client of Kateās for 9 years. I first met her when my hair was so fried that I had to cut my hair off in a bob. During my initial consultation, she said āThis should be ILLEGAL what has been done to your hair. Literally, HAIR ABUSE!ā From Day 1, she has gone above and beyond to provide HONEST and real RESULTS to have beautiful, healthy blonde hair. She is the #1 blonde colorist in the state of Georgia. Every client looks AMAZING because that is a direct reflection of her work. Do you really think Bellami would have her speak in Las Vegas at their annual conference if she was really that bad? I think not!
Back to my hair journey. We started off slow with the transformation. Our goal was to get my hair healthy first, then slowly get my hair ice white and bright. She has always been extremely transparent about what we can achieve and the next steps to achieve my ideal color.
She told me EXACTLY what products to use and never pushed expensive products. We always kept my budget in mind and I just simply LISTENED to her advice. She is not GOD or a MAGICIAN that can magically transform your hair overnight. Please if you know a stylist that can truly do this, oh wait, there is not one! PATIENCE is key and good results take time. This applies to all AESTHETIC SERVICES!
You get what you pay for. It takes 3-5 hours to process my hair because NO HEAT is involved during the process so I ACHIEVE my desired RESULTS without damaging my hair.
I did a consultation for extensions and she was transparent as usual. As much as I adore the staff and Kate, I donāt want to come in every 2 weeks to get my hair tightened. We decided since I am a busy young professional, letās go the natural route and let my hair grow out naturally. She has always been mindful of my TIME and I RESPECT her time as well.
The moral of this story is you have to put the WORK in as well. I have used the correct products, tools, and I lead a healthy lifestyle. Collagen and vitamins do wonders. My hair has grown out and my color looks great because I LISTEN and use the SAME STYLIST.
Kate, Jessica, Jamie, Kara, and Elle have always been kind, honest, and professional. I consider my time at the salon as a way to catch up and have girls time with my salon family. Please do not take their directness and honesty as them being rude. They only want the best for you!
I start my day reading the WS Journal and not particularly a fan of Instagram or TikTok. If you want to believe in disinformation and go to a stylist that will tell you what you want to HEAR, their chair is open and waiting for you to be disappointed and take your wallet along for the ride!!

I spent over $700 on my hair and products at this salon, so I was really hoping for a smooth, professional experience ā especially when it came to communication and follow-up. Unfortunately, that wasnāt the case.
This was my first visit to the salon, and I was genuinely excited. I had waited a few weeks to book with Mary, who had just come back from maternity leave (and by the way, her baby is absolutely adorable!). Mary is super sweet, easy to talk to, and did a fantastic job with the placement of my highlights.
After my hair was done, she mentioned that it looked a little bit lighter than what I was thinking ā but we decided I would sit with it and see how I felt. If anything changed, I could let her know. That was super professional of her and very thoughtful to acknowledge that upfront.
After a few days, I realized the color just wasnāt working for me ā it was too light ā so I reached out to the salon to ask about getting a simple toner correction (no bleach, nothing major). Unfortunately, all communication is done through text, and it took over three days just to get a reply. Then it took another three days to receive scheduling information.
We finally got an appointment booked, but I had to cancel due to a death in my family. Since then, Iāve tried multiple times to reschedule, but the same communication delays continued ā slow responses, vague answers like āIāll check the schedule,ā and no follow-through. Itās now been over a week since my last message with no update.
Because of the delays and lack of response, I ended up going to another salon and paying to get my hair toned and corrected to the shade I originally wanted.
I, too, have a super busy schedule, so making time to get my hair done when I can is really important to me. I just wouldāve expected more communication, especially considering the cost and time involved.
I completely understand that everyone has busy schedules ā stylists and clients alike ā but taking over three days to respond to a client is a bit much, especially when it's about correcting a service. There just didnāt seem to be much urgency or follow-up, which was really disappointing.
I wouldāve expected better communication, especially given the price tag theyāre charging for hair services. That said, I still want to be clear that I think Mary is fantastic ā sheās talented, kind, and really made the appointment enjoyable.
I was going to my previous hair stylist for over 7 years and switched to be closer to my home. So typically pretty loyal. However, unfortunately , the quality of the communication just isnāt worth it for me.

I get in .. no thanks no acknowledgment!!! rushed into a seat and a minion who starred separating my hair , mixed color and started foiling my hair .. FAKE KATE is usually who at least should know what I want and tell them the color since I pay her price !! She did not even look my side . I told the minion wait I needto tell you what color I want .. she said donāt worry I know .. so Fake KATE from a distance heard the minion.. told me ok then what do you want ! This or that ( choices ) and they continue working . I asked the minion another service for my hair . Her answer was REMIND ME . I said you need me to remind you ! She said in the most RUDE WAY when she knows me , knows my name .. MAM YES .. you NEED to remind me MAM we are BUSY . When they only had 3 clients and staff was more THAN CLIENTS. plus empty chairs ā¦She dropped everything and went to Fake Kate ear !!! Fake Kate who was not even working on my hair because she is still doing other client hair listening to her minions story not even knowing what happened came very OVERWHELMED with her mess in the salon telling me If I donāt like being called MAM ( pulling the southern card ) insulting me with her loud annoying voice .I SHOULD LEAVE .
