Nail Muse — Attraction in Atlanta

So i tried this place, showed them a photo of what i had in mind with the curtesy of letting the tech put his/her own spin on it. I just said that i wanted it to be ALL silver chrome. I was there for over 4hrs the first tech didn’t know what he was doing and couldn’t seem to understand English(not an issue for me) but clearly an issue when it comes to comprehending the customer, so the manager comes and clarifies…i thought. The tech walks away several times leaving me sitting for almost 30 min whilst i get my pedicure, the woman doing my pedicure wrapped my legs and feet in hot towels and walks away to do a clients brows…the towels are sitting on my feet the entire time and turn cold, completely opposite of a spa experience. Anywho, the manager comes back and finishes the persons job who was working on my pedicure, he had to take off the lumpy polish and redo it might i add. Meanwhile my manicure is still not done. Long story short when my nails we FINALLY done, it looked like a 5 year old did my nails! I was bullied into paying for a services that were more than unprofessional and the woman who was one of the managers or owner was disrespectful and dismissive and insulting to the point we’re i had verbal defend myself. Money isn’t an issue for me, being bullied into paying for a raggedy service that was supposed to be a spa experience and a luxury, that was any but a luxury or spa service is an issue however. If you value customer service and quality work, this isn’t the place to go, if you just want to have oil and location rubbed on your hand with subpar mani and pedi’s then by all means, go waste your money. Anywho, I’ve posted photos take the day i left the salon where you can see the the black base for the silver chrome still being visible when it shouldn’t be…polish sloppily on my cuticles and sides of my nails. And i didn’t even bother taking photos of my pedicure 🙄 you can see dents in the polish, the uneven chrome, the black base, just a mess! They do not have to worry about me ever again. I came across Nail Muse and I was really excited to visit. I’ve been going since October. My last three visits have been horrible! My nail continues to chip… Same day! They get mad when I come back the next day but I spent my money so it would look good. If you don’t spend a certain amount they also get mad. The promo videos is only for the rich! I don’t mind spending my money on nails for my son gender reveal I spent 240 on a full set so the money is not an issue but the customer service is. They will sit you down and rush you out they select who they want to give champagne’s to based off what service you get (the amount) they will give it to you if you ask but they too come with an attitude. I came in Monday and Tuesday of last week and called Wednesday to tell them that the same nail was chipped and another nail as well the guy asked when I could come back I told him Monday (I didn’t plan on coming to see them three times in one week especially not for the same nail). I was greeted with an attitude once I said who I was… the nail tech used a nail file to get the polish off and I asked to put nude back in return she left two nails with green polish residue and just put nude on my nails as if I would not see the nude… when I asked about she said “yeah I see the green and I’m not just one of the workers I’m one of owners you can’t just come get it fixed I’ve heard nothing about you” . I proceeded to show her when exactly I called she walked off and continued to help several other clients. Will the guy who did my nails originally was there and I told them who he was! It’s so much I can say just from my last few visits but I will never give them my money. They only appreciate money not...

A few weeks ago I traveled to Atlanta to visit my best friend and attend an event. When I got to ATL, I already needed my nails redone, but I was going to push through. After two days of event prepping, my nails were finished, lol. On a Saturday evening (3/2), I googled nail shops near where I was staying in Buckhead. I found Nail Muse and the reviews looked promising. As I was about to leave the house, I told my best friend's BF I was going to a nail shop and his immediate reply was, "You should try Nail Muse around the corner! I went the other day and I really like how they did my manicure." So now I was sold!

I pulled up to the location and was lucky enough to park right in front. I walked in and was immediately greeted by someone. I signed in and was taken to a room in the back. I got the SNS Dip Powder + Manicure (from Nathan) and a Paraffin Wax pedicure (from Cindy). Let me tell you: it was an AMAZING EXPERIENCE.

They were both very friendly and listened to me explain what I wanted. They asked the right questions. I am very "plain jane" when it comes to my nails so I just wanted a simple neutral tone on my nails. They assignment was understood! The service was outstanding, my nails looked perfect, and the massage chair almost put me to sleep! Sadly, I didn't take a picture of the final product (and I fell and chipped a nail the other day so I definitely don't want to show them), but I did snap a pic as I enjoyed my massage with paraffin was on my feet, lol.

Bottom line: If you're in the Buckhead area, stop by Nail Muse. You won't regret it! Next time I'm in town, it will be one of my...
