I will preface by saying that the nails turned out nice; however, the experience in general will prevent me from ever coming again. Firstly, I came with a friend and we were sitting next to each other. The nail artist who was supposed to do my nails began to do my friends and vice versa. The technicians quickly realized they meant to switch positions. No big deal. However, when they switched places, my technician took the bowl of water that my friend had began to soak her nails in already and put it in my vacinity. I thought she would give me a new bowl (as this one was already used), but she did not. To me, that is extremely unprofessional and unsanitary. I had to put my hands in the already used bowl. On top of that, a worker was folding the towels they use in the salon. About half of them fell on the ground, but he picked them up and continued as normal. Keep in mind the floor was a bit dusty and had some dead flies around. Being a nail salon, sanitization is so important and this place did not live up to normal standards.
Besides that, I showed a picture to the technician asking if she could choose a color that matches the picture. She said they didn't have anything exactly like that, so just gave me the gel to choose from. Kindly, I asked a few times which one would achieve the effect of the picture I showed (it was a certain type of pink chrome). She and the technician sitting next to her that I also asked multiple times literally completely ignored me. Not sure if I'm silly to think that the technicians would know the effects of their color better than I would. It was very rude. On top of that, the technicians were talking about me and my friend in their language.
Lastly, I was charged EXTRA because my nails were naturally long. This made absolutely no sense to me because it lessens the amount of work to be done. I only asked for it to be shaped from a file - not even nail clippers. I left pretty frustrated. If you want an enjoyable experience,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is only my second time but I donāt think Iāll be back anytime soon, I was referred by someone to go to this place but I feel like itās a cash grab they donāt really listen at all or care too much. I had made an appointment and I called my nail tech I had seen before hand if I can come in earlier because my tips were lifting and it hasnāt even been three weeks! And I did call the number in her bio which is completely different from the salon number. I come for my appointment and she isnāt there but no one at the salon said anything. I go in and someone is sitting up front and I tell them repeatedly Iām here to see Sam and they just keep asking for what service I want and Iām like I have an appointment with Sam, we discussed it before hand. She looked really annoyed that I wouldnāt tell her and was like āokay just take a seat.ā They seat me down and get a completely different person to my nails, now I didnāt say anything at first because when they were soaking my nails off I usually find it typical there can another person doing that just in case my usual nail tech is running behind but no she wasnāt even there and they didnāt even tell me even though I said I had an appointment with her. They just disregard it and sat me down to make some extra cash for the day. So they proceed to do my nails but are out of everything I wanted to do so I had to improvise everything and they didnāt even give good suggestions on what to do just āokay pick something else.ā Now itās been only a week and one of my gems fell off and some of the top coat is peeling off my nails. The last pic is what I wanted but with almond shape and they also got some of the red sns...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePlease do not be fooled by the good star rating like I was. There are so many better places in town. Do not go here.
I went it for sns removal and then new sns set with tips. The design I requested was uncomplicated, simple French with green instead of white, and pictures were provided.
First, the nail salon itself is sad and dirty. It did not look or feel clean.
The tools they used were also dirty. The tech cut me and my first thought was Iām getting an infection.
The sns removal process was harsh. They literally soaked for 2 minutes and then pried off the sns coat with a fake nail tip. After the first 2 I asked her to stop because it was destroying my nails.
On to the nails, they look awful and Iām already getting them removed elsewhere today. The almond shape is irregular, the base polish for a French manicure was a peachy orange and the French tip I got in green is messy. The nails look thick and ridiculous.
$100 later, Iām left with damaged nails and an awful sns set. Itās more expensive than places Iāve been in bigger cities.
I know I should have leftā¦but my nail tech was pregnant and seemed really unhappy. I felt bad for her and thatās on me.
I recommend going literally anywhere else...
