I really don’t like leaving less than stellar reviews, but wanted to be honest for others considering spending their money here. And hopefully for management to take into consideration! All the staff is super nice, the place smells great and it’s really cute, and their $70 first time facial deal is pretty good. However, it certainly not a typical facial experience. Based on the website, I knew it was not going to be a spa like atmosphere, so the fact that it was separated by curtains, and you can hear other people talking, etc. didn’t really surprise me. But the facial essentially consisted of the aesthetician putting on different masks/serums and then wiping them off. At one point I laid there in silence for about 15-20 minutes while a mask dried on my face. It was boring and something I could’ve done at home, lol. I was surprised they didn’t offer any sort of massage during this time. The “massage” portion lasted maybe four minutes total. That’s one of my favorite parts of a facial and I wish I’d known it’s not really included in this experience (they never said it was, I’ve just never had a facial where they didn’t have a good massage portion). Also I arrived 10 mins early as requested but they were 8 mins late bringing me back so I had to sit around a while. after leaving I wasnt particularly relaxed and my face didn’t feel any more clean or glowing. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but I wouldn’t spend that much...
Read moreI've gone back and forth as to if I want to write a review or not...but if I had read a review like this one it would have saved me time and money. The staff are all very nice and the facility is clean but my experience overall just felt very lackluster. There are curtains separating you from the other appointments so during my facial i was able to hear full conversations of others around me. I was left sitting on the table for around 20 mins waiting for a face mask to settle (typically other facial studios will massage you during this time) and when I'm paying almost $2 a minute to sit....not my favorite experience. Very little education as to what was being used on my face, I had to ask what things were and I was told I can buy the same tools on amazon. Again, then why am I paying for this ? When i got home my skin felt heavy and on the verge of clogged, I actually washed my face and used my own skincare bc I did not want to leave the products they used on my face. Overall I just did not love my experience here. They did not do anything offensive but unfortunately I do feel like my time and...
Read moreMy first time here today-received a facial here as a Christmas gift. I’ve actually never had a facial, so I didn’t know what to expect. I had such a great experience! I made a mistake and booked my appointment at the Krog Street location, but meant to be at the “Midtown Promenade” location over in the shops adjacent to Trader Joe’s . When I showed up at the Midtown location, the front desk lady (Nia) was kind enough to transfer my appointment over from Krog, and then worked me in there! My aesthetician “Pariis” did my facial, and it was over the top fabulous! She answered the multiple questions I had, and made sure I was comfortable. I was not pressured to purchase a membership (even though it is a great deal)-and Nia showed me the products used on me. I also was not pressured to purchase any products..so if you’re thinking of checking this place out, go for it! You won’t be disappointed! And...
