Mediocre spa, have had a more luxury experience at other spas. Staff were all very sweet. My massage therapist was also very nice & kind. BUT she had long nails and injured myself & another friend from our group. The spa is offering each of us $25 refund, for massages that were each over $100. Our skin was literally broken during our massages, and the director or “owner” actually blamed us for not confronting the LMT about her nails during the service. How uncomfortable?! AND said sometimes you end up with marking from a massage. I’ve NEVER had an injury or my skin broken during a massage. I would skip this spa. Hopefully we don’t end up with infections.

I had the best time at this spa! The first time I came here it was for a girls day out celebrating a birthday and we had a great time. The jacuzzi area is huge with a steam room, sauna, and even an outdoor pool! We all had lounge chair massages with Val by the jacuzzi and she had a very good technique and it was very relaxing. Today I went by myself and had the best “me time.” I had a deep tissue message with Sandy who was absolutely fantastic and very experienced with massages. It was such a relaxing experience and the staff were extremely friendly. It was exactly what I needed and I cannot wait to plan the next visit!

We had our staff retreat at the Sea Spa in Atlantic City, which is located in the Chelsea Tower of the Tropicana. Inside the space smells amazing and is very clean and relaxing. The indoor jacuzzi and steam rooms are perfect for getting relaxed before your spa or facial. Gina the owner checked in frequently to make sure our experience was stellar and Bailey did an excellent job coordinating the daily schedule of over 11 staff members. The outside has a very nice relaxing pool with nice lounge chairs and a fire pit. Would definitely recommend the sea spa for your next event!

Beware when planning a spa party @seaspasancutary in Tropicana Atlantic City (Long Review)

While attempting to plan a bachelorette party for my future sister in law, management canceled our reservations without proper notice for expressing my displeasure with their service.

I began inquiring about reserving their Tea Party area on Saturday, April 27, 2024 via email. After several email exchanges with Valerie, the spa party coordinator, I sent a signed contract with my credit card information to reserve the area on Monday, April 29, 2024. I immediately emailed Valerie to verify receipt of the contract. I didn’t receive a response until the morning of Wednesday, May 1st acknowledging receipt of said contract along with a request to change our date bc there was now another party booked on the date we previously agreed upon. Not only did I immediately send an email expressing my frustration and disappointment with the double booking and lack of accountability, I also called the spa and requested to speak with the spa manager. I realized my frustrating tone as I spoke with the young lady, Stephanie at the front desk, and apologized for directing my frustration towards her, but requested a call back from the spa manager. Manager Bailey did reach out to me later that day and offered me another area to hold our event without an up charge and I agreed. At that time, she also gave me a schedule for everyone’s treatment. I received a video on Saturday, May 4th from Valerie of the new space where we were to have our event. The area was small, dark and had seating for 6 people. We had a party of 8 and were bringing decorations, food and drinks. I immediately sent another email to Valerie expressing my dislike of the space for reasons previously mentioned. I then attempted to reach out to Bailey where I was told she was in a meeting and would call me back. I then sent another email to Valerie on Sunday, May 5th requesting a confirmation of our services. Instead, I received an email from Bailey stating our reservation, as well as all of our treatments were cancelled because there was a party who apparently booked on April 26th. She also stated it was apparent we could not be pleased. This email was sent from a different email and was sent to my junk mail, so I never officially received it. I would not have known of the cancellation had it not been for the email requesting a confirmation. This staff is extremely unprofessional and obviously does not know or understand how to deal with adversity. I would caution anyone who tries to book a party with this spa to do all transactions via email in order to...

If I could give zero stars, I would. STAY AWAY!

I took my wife here for her birthday—she got a massage, I got a wax, and we purchased a day pass to their spa. As a facility manager who oversees pools, I understand pool safety and cleanliness, and let me tell you, this place was absolutely disgusting.

The Jacuzzi was filthy—its walls were covered in green buildup, and the waterfalls pouring into it had thick calcium deposits, contaminating the already cloudy water. It was clear that proper maintenance was not a priority.

The lounging area was just as bad. There were only six lounge chairs available, and the ones not occupied were covered with dirty fitted towels. The only refreshment provided at 2 PM was water, and when I asked about purchasing food, I was told no outside food was allowed—yet, inside, I saw guests openly enjoying wine, cheese, crackers, and fruit with no enforcement of this supposed rule.

The amenities were cheap and inadequate—paper-thin robes, no sandals, and not even basic essentials like hair ties.

I didn’t want to ruin my wife’s birthday by arguing with management, so I called later to address the issues. I spoke with Victoria, the manager, who offered a mere 10% discount on a future visit—as if we would ever want to return! I simply requested a refund for the $50 day pass (not for our services), but she refused. Even worse, she admitted they were aware of the calcium buildup, yet they still keep the Jacuzzi open. When I brought up the green walls, she dismissed it by saying the spa is "older." That’s not an excuse—if I’m paying for a facility, I expect it to be clean and well-maintained.

Her final excuse? That I “waited too long” to complain. I worked the past two days and called three days after our visit—that’s too long?

This spa is a health hazard with terrible guest service, cheap amenities, and neglectful management. Do yourself a favor and...

My husband and I made an appointment for a couples massage. Upon booking, we were told there was a pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room for use since we booked a service. We were told they closed at 7pm so we booked for 4pm and after the massage would use the amenities promised for at least 40 minutes or so. We get there 12/28/24 and there is no one at the front for 20 minutes. Then the robes provided were dirty, there are no slippers availble but size 7 womens, and they decided to close one hour early without explanation. I expressed that we were not provided what was promised upon booking and perhaps they could reschedule us since this is not working out today. The staff was incredibly rude and refused to reschedule us or provide what was promised. They confirmed if we left they would charge the card so we proceeded with the massage. The massage was not 50 minutes but 30, there was a broken sound machine cutting in and out, and the staff walked in and out of the room frequently. When finished we walked barefooted to the spa area where we were told they were closing now, but for $25 dollars we could come back tomorrow and use the facilities since we didn’t get to experience it today. We were able to see the steam room was moldy- so perhaps they had to close for cleaning? I again confirmed they said they closed at 7pm Saturdays when we booked and was told yeah but today we close at 5pm with no further explanation. Our card was charged, when I asked for an itemized receipt she said no. The doors were locked from the inside and we had to wait for them to find the key to let us out. I genuinely do not feel we received the promised services, this was an unsafe and unsanitary experience, we do not recommend. Go literally...
