Yvette, our wonderful server, welcomed us warmly as soon as we arrived for breakfast, providing us with exceptional service as if we were guests in her own home.
Our group of four – my partner, our 1-year-old, 2.5-year-old, and myself – arrived hungry and left satisfied after choosing from the extensive menu. We opted for chocolate chip pancakes for the little ones, Sage Fried Chicken and Waffles for me, and Sage Fried Chicken and Eggs for my partner.
While the chicken could have used a bit more salt to suit my taste, the flavors of sage and other herbs were prominent. The meal was hearty and delicious, leaving us with plenty of leftovers, which is always a bonus when traveling with kids. My son particularly enjoyed his large pancake – who can resist such a treat, right?
For beverages, I ordered the spiked Kiwi Watermelon lemonade and my partner had the Cherry Limeade, both fun to look at and priced at $16.99. Although they were fruity and sweet, we agreed that the "spiked" aspect was not very noticeable in the flavor.
The restaurant had a welcoming and homey atmosphere, making it a great recommendation for everyone, but especially those dining with children or in large groups.
Thank you, Hash House A Go Go, for a fantastic first experience! We will definitely return on our next trip to...
Read moreMy husband went to this restaurant in Vegas a few times so when it came to Atlantic City he brought the whole family to try it out. It’s a much smaller menu in AC with less Latino influence so he was a little disappointed. We had to try the big pancake which was pretty good but too thick. I got a Buffalo chicken wrap which was really good but there was way too much Buffalo sauce. We also got the banana French toast which was really good and the grilled bananas were probably my favorite bite. My husband didn’t realize the peel was still on it until I pointed it out so he says he ate some peel. Overall I would come back but it’s very very pricy, brunch for 4 people came to $100. They also had some confusion over what’s included in the meals and we inquired with the food runner if the pancake breakfast had potatoes included and he disappeared and came back with a plate of potatoes so we took them but then we were charged an extra $5 for a side of potatoes on the bill. We told the waiter we didn’t order potatoes we just asked if they were included and if they weren’t they could have told us that. He begrudgingly took it off the bill. The potatoes weren’t even good, not seasoned and a little overcooked. The French fries however had a nice...
