Face to Face Spa - Downtown Austin — Attraction in Austin

I absolutely love this place and cannot say enough positive things about the people and services.

I originally started going to Face to Face on 6th because I was given a gift card. I wasn't sure what I wanted/needed to get done and Kat was so helpful in guiding me towards the series of 6 chemical peels. She really took the time to look over my skin, offer suggestions, and rule out what was unnecessary. She explained everything she put on my skin and the process, step by step. She also told me what I could use at home to care for my skin during the healing process; I did not feel pressured to buy anything or add on more than necessary. They do a great job of keeping track of your skin history and services, as well as take photos for your records.

I LOVE how my skin feels and looks after completing my peels. Lindsey, Isis, and Kat are absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I thoroughly enjoy coming in and chatting with them during peels and facials.

Decker, the man who works at the front desk, is the best. He is extremely friendly, helpful, and quick to get you set for appointments and scheduling. When I was in yesterday for a peel, Decker wasn't working and I was so disappointed I wasn't able to chat with him. He's a hoot.

Ana, the owner, is also very friendly and sweet. Their membership rates are excellent and I highly recommend joining if you plan to frequent the spa. It's a rare membership deal that actually saves you money as opposed to being a waste.

I would strongly recommend against joining their membership scheme. I assume the quality of the services they provide is similar to their competitors, but their approach to the membership program is underhanded and deceptive. They are more than happy to allow you to join online, but cancellation can only be done by calling them - at which point they will send you a form that has to be filled out and returned. Only then will they accept your cancellation - with the kicker that they not only impose a 30-day notice requirement, but also then charge a final month's subscription - effectively making it a 60-day notice.

There's no justification for any of this - why do they allow online membership, but not cancellation? Why the 30-day notice, let alone the additional month's charge after that term has expired? The only reason, clearly, is to delay cancellation and get another month or two of payments.

All this is described in their membership agreement, but of course they rely on very few people reading those carefully. My own fault for assuming they were an honest business, of course - but for anybody thinking about making the same mistake, at least go into...

I've been coming to Face to Face and seeing Lezlie for about a year and cannot recommend her enough. She is an absolute gem and the best in the business! Lezlie is incredibly knowledgeable and always up-to-date on the latest research and innovations in skincare. She takes the time to educate me on the science behind the products and treatments, so I feel informed and confident in my skincare choices.

Lezlie has helped me achieve incredible results. My skin has never looked better - it's clearer, brighter, and smoother than ever before. She customized a regimen that works for my unique needs and it has made such a difference. I'm so grateful to have found Lezlie and I can't imagine trusting my skin to anyone else.
