Sir Swante Palm Neighborhood Park — Attraction in Austin

The park would be nice for children but as a word of caution since we had faith from the other reviews this was a recreational option for a child, this park had various drug use at noon during a mid week afternoon. Construction worker was mingling w the homeless who were smoking incense -also saw a man injecting out in the open! I hope the city can clean this place up. There should be no tolerance for drug use at a park with facilities...

Do not take your kids here. There were crazy homeless people shooting up drugs at the bathrooms and trash and poop around the kids area. It’s right near the highway and super noisy. It looks like it might have...

Poorly maintained, like most downtown Austin parks and public spaces. Overgrown grass, no landscaping, no access to Waller Creek, lots of trash. A couple of swings and a picnic table or two....
