Such a cool ship! It’s still under renovation so there are a few sections that aren’t ready for viewing but it is still so cool to walk along an actual ship that use to be in use. I paid $22 for a day to see all the ships in the area and it is very much worth it! I spent about 40 mins on this ship.
I went on a Friday at noon and it was not crowded at all. There’s a gift shop and small museum just before you go onto the ship. The attendant onboard was very kind and was able to answer questions about the ship. The attendants in the ship were very occupied with their phone and a private conversation but once I got their attention they were able to help me with my purchase.
This boat is on the pier so parking is scarce, but there are parking lots nearby.
This ship is NOT accessible for people in wheelchairs and may be difficult for people with canes to walk up and down the stairs.
I think this great for children because there are so many things to see and lots to learn. It’s a great trip for solo explorers...
Read moreI hosted my team and many colleagues, a group of about 40 people, for evening cocktails and hors d’oeuvres as part of our annual strategy offsite at the USS Constellation. It was by far the most memorable event we’ve done in years. The bar and appetizers were set up in the museum, and we were able to wander the ship on our own, while asking questions of the knowledgeable subject matter experts, Skylar and Alexa. The team was blown away at being able to explore the ship, such an icon of our city, and the evening was topped off with a spectacular cannon firing off the bow! Many thanks to Alexa, Skylar, and the entire Historic Ships team for making it an unforgettable event for my team and our colleagues. USS Constellation is a spectacular venue for private events in...
Read moreThe Constellation has been on our bucket list for almost 15 years, and this year we finally got the chance to get to Baltimore and see the ship. WOW! What a great ship. Nicely preserved and well maintained. If you get the chance, we highly recommend you set aside a few hours and spend some time in the museum and the ship. You are able to go down to the bottom level and walk the entire length of the ship. There are many displays and informational placards that will help explain the life of those who spent their time under the ships sails. LOVED IT!
