Sheldon Jackson Museum — Attraction in Baranof Island

A visit to this museum was the last item on my cruise ship tour bus. It is such an amazing museum that I would have happily spent all day in it! I've been to museums of Alaska artifacts elsewhere, but this, in my view is the best! It has some items found in any museum, but what you need to do is go through the cabinet drawers! Each drawer contains a specific focus - and many topics I had never even heard of! AND it covers each of the Indigenous peoples of Alaska. Absolutely suggest stopping in this place! I am unsure why I have never stopped in but I am glad I did! Jeffrey provided an excellent and very informative rundown of the museum and was kind enough to inform me about the partnership they have with educators around the country!
