FREAK’NArt saved My Life! As a lifelong Artist I always knew I would have time to to get back to it but job, kids, pets, even other hobbies alway took priority. Anastasia has offered a safe space to remind ourselves that we are all creative whatever the medium. “It’s not about the piece you are making it is that you are actually making a piece”.

Because she is an accomplished fine artist I appreciate her guidance for technical questions or just hanging out talking about Art in these days of anxious chaos. I like the DIY option where she provides lots of support while I work on ongoing projects.

The music she curates is worth the visit. I have attended a print making and stained glass class met cool people and walked away with pieces I felt pretty good about.

Anastasia is not only a fantastically talented visual artist, she is a warm and welcoming arts and educator and studio host. I first took a mixed media collage project class with a friend and found myself on a journey with the creative process wherein my busy brain settled and I was able to just be present and create. This was a joy for me as someone who has a) always studied art but never really made it and b) I was able to get out my anxious brain and by making art, feel better!

My mom and I took a geli print class for Mother’s Day and it was a lovely way to bond and do something unique! We both kept some prints we made with pride.

I highly recommend taking a class or doing a DIY project with FREAKn ART on your own or with a friend. It’s an awesome and affordable...

I can not say enough good things about this incredible gem of a studio that we're so lucky to have here in the heart of Bend. Anastasia is a truly gifted artist and teacher who creates a welcoming space where each persons unique expression can shine. To be able to just show up to a class with access to such a wide range of supplies and simply let go, explore, and see where your creativity takes you is such a gift. Furthermore, my daughter absolutely loves coming to the open studios as well as the Wednesday after school program. She feels deeply supported and has not only gained foundational artistic skills, but also the confidence to trust her own creative voice.
