Sisters Coffee Company - Old Mill — Restaurant in Bend

We bought a couple bags of the Black Bute Sisters Dark Roast beans, but the coffee wasn’t good. It looked like saw dust when we ground up the beans. So I attempted to return the second bag of beans in an unopened bag with the receipt a few days later. The supervisor on duty at the Old Mill location said they don’t allow returns. I asked why and she said it was the company policy to not allow beans to be returned. I told her I would buy more coffee and food for a credit… nope just shut me down. I went outside and looked on the company’s website and they offer a 30 day return policy on unopened beans! I emailed the company asking to them to honor their policy and no response. I can afford to throw away a $17 bag of coffee, but I shouldn’t have to waste my money AND be treated like an inconvenience for a subpar product.

Set in a beautiful part of town, this coffeeshop exceeded our expectations! We were visiting Bend and wanted a place to grab some food and drinks and found Sisters Coffee. What a perfect place that was our first introduction into the beauty of Bend! We're not huge coffee connoisseurs, but both of us enjoyed our drinks! They have unique flavors and also the classics. Their food was great as well! I do think there could have been more meat/sauce in the Hoodoo burrito but it still tasted great. Their souvenirs really stood out. I loved the designs they featured and wish I had bought something while I was there! The team was great. They were not only attentive but also were able to answer my questions and offer suggestions. First off this place has the best coffee and service . I was staying in bend at a local hotel and in the mornings I go and get their coffee . Never the hotel coffee . Today I went in and I had my car running it was as 7 am . As I got to my hotel I realized I did not have my purse and I was frantic . I called to see if I left it there and Kyle answered . He found my purse and he drove within 10 minutes my hotel was a few miles away and delivered my purse to my hotel . He would not accept a tip.
