I used to love going to GameStop. I was a regular and would always buy the big new releases here. That was until I started dealing with Janaya G. She is the most absurd immature employee I’ve ever had to deal with. I frequently used to bring in trades like Controllers for consoles and stuff like that. Every other employee does the trade transaction smoothly not defecting any of the items for stupid things but Janaya is the polar opposite. She goes on to say that the prices for trades on the website aren’t correct and she robs me and my family who I’ve had take trades in for me. She defects every single trade item regardless of it being perfect. This is never an issue for any other employee. I feel disrespected and robbed. I went in today (11/1/18) to get 3 Wii motes that my sister took in earlier and got half the cash that was expected because Janaya did the transaction. I took two additional wiimotes because I wanted to see if they saw someone older they would treat them differently. I was given the correct amount of $16 for the two wiimotes and then I mentioned why they had to take advantage of my little sister when she brought in the same item and gave her way less cash than supposed to. The cashier helping me called over Janaya and she took the $16 I had from my hand and returned me $11.20. Janaya is a theif and has no right disrespecting customers. I will be going in to talk to the store manager and corporate to report Janaya’s inappropriate and disrespectful behavior. (UPDATE 11/3/18) I went in today to take back my Controllers and I had a really mature and important talk with the store manager, Thomas. He fixed everything and was very polite in getting the situation fixed and right. I traded in my controllers for what they’re worth and now I am happy customer. If anyone ever has a problem with the store just talk to Thomas, he will make...

I came in and bought a PS5 and I received a box with a crushed corner and what looked to be an opened unit (sticker seal was broken). I asked if he has another one not like this and he said they are all like that (which I didn’t believe). He then proceeds to ask me to upgrade my GameStop account and then tries to push insurance on me telling me I’m taking a big risk? I’m just trying to buy a gaming console NOT wanting to haggle/negotiate for things I don’t need.
Finally, he asks me if I want a bag (thinking he will give me a 10 cent paper/plastic bag to help carry this giant box). I said yes then he pulls out a cloth bag and charges me $2 without saying anything.
I walked out and determined that I will never make another purchase again at GameStop in Bend. The only reason to still shop in brick and mortal physical stores is for decent customer service. If that doesn’t exist then...

I sent in around 15-20 cards to get graded, after 1.5-2 months they finally came back with 1 being extremely damaged on the corners. (It was verified with the photos taken by GameStop) told by the Manager “CORY” it will get handled by him or his DM because “ this has never happened before” so PSAis going to make a decision on what to do, and I’ll get a call from either CORY or his DM within a week. It’s new 2 months now, I got absolutely nothing back, no call, no email, nothing! I’ve been calling atleast 1-2 times per week to get the exact same responce from every employee that “ They can’t tell me when he’s coming back from vacation, or when he’s gunna be back In, or he just left 10 minutes ago, or he’s in disposable. DONT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE EVER IF YOU WANNA GET GOOD SERVICE AND “ALL” YOUR CARDS RETURNED AS THEY SHOULD BE!
