Update : TLDR : Robert Hayes is someone who helps run all the stores (double check the 5 star reviews) Tiffany should work at a car dealership. Doubt its woman or minority owned (no real evidence to support their claim) They have other locations in Massachusetts (Cambridge, Athol, and Somerville) Their slogan is āNothing for Saleā āā Maybe they confused āwoman ownedā with the dispensary across the street? I searched through Google to see who the owner of āTPGā is. I couldnāt find any information nor any press about this place being woman owned. Other dispensaries that actually are woman owned, and proud of it, have a few articles about their grand opening and showcase their leaders on the dispensary website. āTPGā has no press associated with being woman owned nor do they write about it on their own website. Blatant lies? I think some people forget that the world can be a small place. On a recent holiday trip I visited Massachusetts and imagine my surprise when I saw a dispensary named āThe Boston Gardenā. Their website has the same design, font, even the same ā12 days of Christmasā flyer that āTPGā has. Props to them for having enough business to start franchising. I was curious, so while I was shopping at their M.A. location I started asking about the business and its history. The name Robert Hayes came up, heās an important person who runs the stores. I did go back to āTPGā to see if my bad experience was really an āunusual exception.ā I had an unpleasant interaction with Tiffany, she should look into becoming a car salesman. Their slogan is right on their insta bio, āNothing for Saleā
Pretty much a corporate dispensary. The deals are practically nonexistent. Tried asking about the holiday sale but I couldnāt get a clear answer. An older guy was telling me about a ā2 for $Xā deal but after leaving I realized that they were selling the two things for normal price. You can go somewhere else for better deals, you donāt even...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo this place opened like a week or two before Halloween and my first time in was Halloween. Iāve been in maybe 4-5 times and have not been disappointed. The prices are reasonable, the products are better and better priced (imo) than anywhere else in North Jersey. I used to go to MA back before cannabis was legal in NJ and realized what a difference in product I was getting in MA vs NJ once the dispensaries could sell- this place has had my faith restored in what a NJ dispensary can be. I walked in about 3 weeks ago and had the pleasure of speaking to the CEO, Michael. A MA native, he was not just hospitable, but cordial, knowledgeable about not just his product, but everyone surrounding his areaās products as well as strengths and weaknesses of the shop. I have stopped going to Rise in favor of this dispensary. I came in today and the budtender, Mimi and their other associate were incredibly helpful and thorough as much as they were friendly. Best bang and quality for your dollar as well as convenience is located in this shop. North Jersey shares a New Englander rivalry with our neighbor NY, but these folks and the institution are bringing some much needed quality and charm to the area I havenāt found since I used to drive 3 hours to Great Barrington, MA. Keep this place alive and thriving- itās what the cannabis enthusiasts of my home state...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAWFUL SERVICE!!!! My experience at The Garden tonight was completely unacceptable. My boyfriend and I came in around 8:10 PM, excited to explore and make a purchase. We were greeted by a woman at the front desk who handled security as well, slim build with her hair in a puff, and from the very start her tone was rude, cold, and condescending.
The first thing she said to us was, āDo you know what youāre looking for?ā Not in a helpful way, but in a dismissive tone that made us feel like a burden. When we politely asked if they had Nigerian Haze, she responded with, āIf you donāt see it on the kiosk, it aināt here.ā Wow. What great service, right?
Weāre both very friendly soft spoken people and we were honestly shocked at how unwelcoming she was. I told my boyfriend we should just leave and we walked right across the street to Nightjar, where we were warmly welcomed with smiles and treated with genuine respect. The difference in energy was night and day.
Itās a shame for a business to lose customers over someone who clearly has no interest in being professional or helpful. She is not suitable to be the face of any business. We will not...
