Heyday — Attraction in Bozeman

This sweet, interesting shop with a warm, Western feeling is the store for a small, woman owned business that I feel good about supporting. I visit every time I'm in Bozeman, which is about once a year. In between, I find and order online many of the winter holiday and birthday presents I want to give throughout the year. I find the prices to be quite reasonable and appreciate the many options in lower price ranges. (It's discouraging to me to try to shop where every item costs between $120 and $300!) Order completion is always accurate and shipping always a bit faster than promised. Products are nicely presented and wrapped well in a small cardboard box. Recently, I asked my husband for the Silver Antler Necklace for our wedding anniversary, and he said to go ahead and order it. It is way prettier than in the photos. I also ordered 2 pairs of Hyalite Turqoise Stud Earrings for gift giving; they are even prettier in person than in the photos. I also got 2 tubes of Duke Cannon lip balm with sunscreen but haven't tried it yet. I can always find unusual, good quality items for myself or to give as gifts....

Heyday has been a must stop shop for years, and my recent visit reminded me why. SHOP LOCAL. Not only is Heyday curated and arranged in a fun and engaging way full of sweet, useful and playful items but with their frequent buyer reward program and bevy of discount items, I spent significantly less for high quality items (most designed in the USA if not made here) than if I had purchased them at an online corporation. I spent $90 for 10 items (gifts for friends & myself) and saved $125. Just a reminder that it's often cheaper and always more ethical to buy small and local than online chains. Your dollars spent at small, independently owned businesses keeps 4x the $ in the local economy compared to chains. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the women working here, they are truly exceptional. Every time I travel to Bozeman for work, I make it a point to stop by because of the incredibly friendly and welcoming customer service. I recently visited again and was able to find the most adorable gifts, all thanks to their thoughtful selection and attentive service. On this trip, I had my 9-year-old golden retriever with me, and I was so touched by how kind and accommodating the staff were toward her as well. That level of warmth and care makes me a loyal customer, and I’ll certainly keep coming back whenever I’m in town.
