SkateWorld — Attraction in Branson

Roller skating has for whatever reason become a thing of the past. However, at skatworld it is very much alive. It is a great way to spend time with your kids, or to watch them enjoying themselves with their friends. The facility is just how I remember it was when I was young. My kids, if I could afford to, would live there. We have an inexpensive 3 hour evening of exercise and fun. The cost this year with skate rental is only $7.00. There are concessions, and a small store to purchase some accessories for your skates. They even sell speciality skates. This is a family owned and operated business. They get to know their customers who come somewhat frequently. They monitor the door so kids cannot just run out. They are very caring people. Staff was friendly excepting for this one guy who is highly inappropriate with the customers/skaters/kids/families. We have spent years here and love the owners. However they seem to condone the behavior of the latest “runner up” guy . He really does a bang up job at harassment on younger kids and even adults. We prefer it when his presence wasn’t there. It used to be great but because we are ran off and the rules are now changed and ran by this guy who has some excuse “medical diagnosis “ to behave inappropriate and control all aspects of family friendly interaction we will not ever book here or return. Skateworld in Branson is a Blast and it's a wonderful place for parents to take their kids and enjoy a family night of fun together. The staff members work extremely hard to keep a clean running family and friendly organization. They do not accept bullying towards children or any of their guest. They do games and events on the skate floor throughout the night for everyone to join in on. They do have a dress code, but being a family oriented business I would say as long as you follow the rules then you'll be fine. All in all I recommend it.
