Stephanie was the girl on the cash register and she was so rude. She should work at Walmart not here at target. The reason I go to target is for the better service always willing to pay more for better service. Unfortunately I was so upset I didn’t ask her managers name. But she was the evening manager she was a tall petite blonde woman and she was so sweet. She seemed embarrassed for Stephanie’s behavior. And I let her know what had happened and she was just so attentive and apologetic. Just everything I would expect from a manager. I had been shopping and didn’t bother with a cart. I had a basket though and I placed it on top of the register after lugging it around I. My arms for an hour my arms were sore. and I was grabbing the items out the basket when Stephanie stated with attitude “you need to remove the items from the basket I’m not gonna do it for you” and I responded yes as you can see that’s what I’m doing and she gave me more attitude after. She then was whispering stuff to the asset protection dude and left the register stating I’ll be right back and going to a group of workers leaving for the night and started talking to them and looking at me. And finally after her 6th “I’ll be right with you” I asked for another cashier and she said yea okay like that was her plan the whole time. What upset me most was that she had called me from another line where I was next in line to just be rude and leave me waiting to leave. Don’t hold target accountable but geesh her hired her she needs to be retrained cos she got Walmart attitude. Shocker I just seen another review...
Read moreI am absolutely disgusted with the treatment I received. Never before have I been treated like some sort of foreign alien like the way I was today. I was told by the team member that my drivers license was no good to perform an exchange of the same item, which was never opened by the way, because he was unfamiliar with an out of state license. When I pulled up the issued government site for the state and put my info in, guess what happened, the same id popped up on the screen. What is strange is that this is accepted EVERYWHERE else, including the hotel I was staying at and the TSA checkpoint that was used in the airport to get here. And, I can see if it was from a state across the country, but it is literally your neighboring state! The utter refusal to even look at it and when my wife pulled out her physical copy and her digital copy, he simply said he was not familiar with the out of state license and because this particular store receives a lot of returns on a daily basis he wouldn't to it. And the fact that I was a 15 yearTarget.com employee with a badge and discount card didn't seem to move his opinion either. To be honest, kinda felt like race played a factor here. It's no wonder people have shifted to online shopping when you have to deal with interactions like this...
Read moreI recently had a situation where I needed to use a whole bunch of $25 AMEX reward cards for my work that were about to expire in 3 days. I initially tried using them on Amazon but they would only take one card per purchase, so that didn't work out for the items we wanted to purchase (mainly electronics). I then went to the Brea Walmart to try to use them in the store -- I asked up front if they had any limits on how many cards could be used on a single purchase, and was told I could use as many as I wanted. However the system blocked them after entering 5 ($125) and the manager did all but escort me out the door, leaving thousands of dollars of merchandise in my shopping cart. I felt like a criminal. I decided to give the Target in Brea a try, and was not only treated like a valued customer but got personal help and attention from Ken, one of the assistant managers, who patiently helped me select merchandise and enter all those gift cards into the system. He then took my purchases out to my car and loaded them for me. I have always like this store and shop here regularly, but will now make it my go-to store...
