FunCity Entertainment Complex — Attraction in Burlington

Had a HORRIBLE experience at this hotel/resort. I normally would never take the time to write a review and I have worked in customer service/management for 15+ years. Upon our arrival, for our 2 day stay at PZAZZ, they accidentally booked us for 4 adults instead of 2 children and 2 adults. Therefore, they booked us to stay on the 21 and older side of the hotel and then proceeded to let us know they now had no rooms for the 2 nights for us available. Victoria, the front desk representative, was very unapologetic, told us we had to go to the other side of the hotel for help and that we would have to call to get our original hotel cancelled, that we could not stay in (their fault) and they would charge us a $150 cancellation fee!!! Also, she told us to try and get a hotel at their sister hotel, which had no rooms available as well. We drove from out of town of course, met family members here and took time off work for this family trip. We ended up trying to make the best out of the situation, because life is too short, we ended up going swimming and eating here. The food is horrible, the rooms (which our families stayed in) were unclean, the hotel had paint chipped walls everywhere, there were flies all over, the elevator sounded like it was going to break down, just in need of a TON of maintenance and looked like the staff just did not care about the hotel appearance or safety. Never would I EVER recommend this hotel to anyone. I have been here two previous times and it was not a good experience the other two times, but not anywhere near as bad...

This place is very dated. The staff did the best they could. I don't think the corporate owners are spending any money on maintenance or updates. Indoor waterpark and play area are small, kiddie size. Arcade and go karts were very good. Just didn't live up to the 3.7 rating. After paying for the extra stuff seems like Great Wolf or Kalihari would be a better choice. Again the staff did a great job with they have...

Very updated and modern, People are usually really friendly and it's everything you could ever ask for all in one convenient location, 3 hotels, A spa, An arcade with a Go-kart track and a laser tag arena, a casino and multiple restaurants! They also have nice ballrooms that you can use to host events and stuff and they EASILY hold 200ish people so that's super nice too!...
