If you’re cruising out of Port Canaveral, this might be the best pre-cruise hotel you’ll ever find! 😍 The Best Western Cocoa Beach totally impressed us — spotless rooms, oceanfront balconies, rocket launch views 🚀, and even that iconic orange guava juice from the ships! Trust me… this is where you want to stay before (or after) your next cruise. 🌴 #CruiseTips #PortCanaveral #CocoaBeach #CruiseVacation #carnivalcruise

This place is dated and is spread over a few blocks . We put here for a vacation club tour for the holidays inn vacation club because the holiday in place said they didn't have anything available we made the plans last year so I don't believe them at all. However I don't feel bad about it because we were put in the tower 4 th floor partial ocean view that looks at the pier and the sunrise from this room is stunning. We are also on the beach and hear the waves crashing all the time. You have to walk about a block to get to the breakfast area and it's actually a large area and decent choices. This area also has rooms that face the ocean and have a balcony but it's a longer walk. There are a long row of motel type rooms 2 floors open walk arounds outside no private balcony. I see a lot of people stop here before getting on their cruise ships a few miles up the road. I would recommend it here for sure. Our beds are not soft or to hard but not Goldilocks either Wore but not worn out yet. Housekeeping came every day and there was always someone cleaning something on the property. So in conclusion I am quite satisfied we were put here instead of the resort that we went to for the timeshare pitch. Being just myself and my husband we were happy with relaxing on the balcony. The room was right off the elevators and the doors do slam hard to the rooms and to the balcony. Hopefully one day they will pull the carpet out of the rooms and tile it as carpets are good at holding dirt but that's my OCD. Enjoy your stay here we did.

Overall a good experience. Unfortunately we decided that Fourth of July weekend is when we would book a stay here, so the price was almost double what it typically is. The location is perfect, the hotel spreads over multiple streets, has two pools, a bar, beach access, parking, and Fish Camp Grill Restaurant right there. Only a couple streets over from the pier as well. We did a junior suite ocean front, the room itself is clean but old school. The bathroom is insanely out dated and pretty rough, so if you book the stay with hopes of a nice bathroom/shower don’t book here. Sink faucet was loose, you could feel the tub move under you feet so it must be a bath fitter type tub, the door was peeling along the bottom, ceiling vent slightly hanging and not working and an extremely loud toilet. Just overall not a nice bathroom. I hate to say it but it almost feels like they have a cob job handyman and need to upgrade. The balcony was great, LOCATION 👍🏻, the beds were comfortable and I liked the four half pillows over the two large pillows that most hotels do. The staff was very friendly and had answers for all the questions. Although the bathrooms are rough, we would stay here again, they are not so bad it’s unbearable. I just wouldn’t do it at the higher price we had for this stay.

Although we were greeted warmly when we checked in, that was the last time we experienced any positive customer service. The facilities are definitely showing their age. There was frequently trash and spills in the lobby and in the elevators. The odor of vaping permeated the elevators and the hallways. We never saw a housekeeper, and no one came in to empty the trash or clean the bathroom. The air conditioning unit was old, musty, and not very effective. Fortunately, we were not faced with high heat or humidity, I can imagine the room would be miserable in the summer. The shower curtain was not secured to the wall and hung so low that about 8 in of fabric sat in the tub with the slow running drain. That meant the shower curtain stayed wet and probably growing mildew since it was never changed. When we called to have someone come and look at it, a very abrupt handyman showed up at the door, telling me we had complained that the room was falling apart. I asked him if he could come back after we left for the day, and he went away, and we never saw him again. When we returned to the room that first day and realized no one had ever come in to tidy up, I called the front desk. They were completely unapologetic, and although they sent some fresh towels over, no one ever came in to pick up the old towels or empty the trash. The morning that we checked out, my husband said something again to the clerk at the front desk, and his response was lukewarm, saying oh well, I guess that happens. He did adjust our bill, taking the $9 per day parking fee off. I had no illusion that I was staying in a luxury hotel, I absolutely understand that the Best Western model is really designed for a middle of the road experience. That being said, with taxes and fees, we paid a little more than $400 a night for our stay, and as I said, there was no service after a friendly greeting at check-in. I have learned my lesson and will avoid staying at a Best...

Stayed here over a weekend for my partner's birthday. Easily the most impressive Best Western location I've seen and stayed at. The staff was top-notch, very friendly, and the front desk provided immediate check-in and a helpful map outlining everything around.

Let's talk about location, because for the price, you can't beat where this hotel is situated. They have a cool seafood restaurant and bar right next door that has HALF OFF happy hour drinks, a perfect way to get your weekend started. Beach access is about 100 yards away from the building we were staying in, and the Cocoa Beach pier is also a

Check in was smooth and without hassle. Had to bust the door open with a firm hip thrust, though. Terribly difficult to open and the handle feels like it's about to fall off if pulled too hard.

Room smelled of mold and smoke, and the carpet was noticeably damp. Dead bugs were found in the bathroom and floor between the beds. Clearly had not been vacuumed at all, and we noticed our baby had black covering the entire bottoms of her feet. Do not go barefoot in these rooms.

Table and chairs were useless, as they were all crammed into a corner between the wall and chest of drawers/TV stand. Only one chair could be pulled out but it blocked the path to the bathroom between the table and bed.

Advertised as a double queen, but clearly two full beds. Tags on sheets even say FULL.

Housekeeping MIGHT clean your room. Advertised as daily maid service but then was told at the desk that it's by request only. But then, even if requested, they may still skip your room and only do half the job. Only pulled sheets up, didn't take out the trash, etc. If the room had been in this condition when we checked in, we would have found another place to stay.

Pool was cloudy with poor filtration. A lot of debris floating around. At least is wasn't so cold that it shocked the system when getting in. Blue Flip Flop bar was randomly closed on days it was advertised to be open. The drinks from the bar were decent.

The location was ok only as far as access to the beach is concerned. The turn in for the hotel was immediately before a traffic light. Heavily trafficked and turning left out of the hotel is impossible at most times.

The only redeeming qualities of this place were the friendly staff at breakfast and access to the beach. Standard breakfast fare, got the job done and was fresh. The beach was only about a 200y walk from the room.

Otherwise, I would not recommend this as a...
