I feel the presence of God every time I enter the church. The friendly staff and as an empath I feel nothing but joy every time I'm there. I need to go more.
Don't get me wrong there's some great people here and this is why I'm editing this. I know two people that have gone to this church consistently. I have a homeless friend, that they would not help. And she believes deeply in God. But when she had to come all the way to where I work just to have somebody pray over her. It broke my heart because I've never prayed for somebody or over somebody I'm not a pastor. So I hope God heard me. Secondly another person that faithfully gives 10% of the income they don't have to this church. Needed help moving and nobody would help them move period. For a person that gives money they don't have to a church that says take what you need and leave what you don't Ryder truck or a U-Haul or something because the money that's given to that church is a hell of a lot. There's people where that money is taken out weekly from the bank accounts. Even if the Bible says that you're supposed to give 10% of your earnings that leaves you with roughly 37% of your wages and that's modern-day slave wages, you're giving 10% to your job or 20 or 30% I don't know and 10% to your church you're literally working four months for free. And that's cool I'm pretty sure that's not what Jesus had in mind when he was saving people from doing I on the cross. I think they should do more to help people. There was a time when I needed help bad and it wouldn't help me either. I told him about rent never like you have to be to you months late for us to help you or whatever they said you know. And don't give me wrong Danielle's a wonderful person so it's the pastor but I don't think you're doing the right thing when it comes to money the last sermon I attended was all about giving 10% and that's the message I left with. They could have at least give that girl some sort of money for the day and help them move so they had a place to stay. These guys probably get their wages by the money that gets put into the tithes.,. I put that money to help people and help the church really. But I don't think it's in the Bible it might say it's in the Bible but that's not what Jesus was thinking. The church should've tried to help and didn't. But they are nice. But I'm sure we could skip the tea in the cookies and the chips and all that stuff so somebody can get moved and another person can get some...
Read moreWe have been going to Life.church for over 10 years. We moved to claremore and decided to try the catoosa location. We dropped our 15 month old off at lifekids and they had all the kids from 3 different age groups in a room together. I have always been told it a child cries for more than 5ish minutes they will call. I never received a call or text so I assumed everything was fine. I go to pick up my child and I can’t see her anywhere but I can hear crying. She was at the door by the 3 teachers sobbing and no one was paying any attention. Her face is bright red, hyperventilating, face soaking wet, and eyes swollen. I was and still am horrified. When she asked who my child was and I said “it’s the one crying right by you” none of the teachers said anything at all. Didn’t say how she did, bye, etc. they also changed teachers in the middle of the service so I’m sure that doesn’t help with keeping children comfortable. We will never return to this location. I am sick to my stomach about this situation. How can 3 teachers be standing there staring at the door and ignore a...
Read moreCool church however, no Mon-Fri service or even on Wed, only for kids, cant get personal cause they dont have one on one time with the pastor, nor can you be included by becoming a member, the only bible study they have isn't at the church you have to choose some random persons house to go for lifegroup. So if you have debilitating Socialanxiety like me it may be quite hard. Again nice church but not...
